🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛About me
Hi, my name is Tina and I'm a data scientist at a FAANG company. I was pre-med studying pharmacology at the University of Toronto until I finally accepted that I would make a terrible doctor. I didn't know what to do with myself so I worked for a year as a research assistant for a bioinformatics lab where I learned how to code and became interested in data science. I then did a masters in computer science (MCIT) at the University of Pennsylvania before ending up at my current job in tech :)

Goes to show that personality types can't see our own savior personality function, we think we are bad at it because savior functions are second nature and we don't even need to focus to do them, while we think we are good at our demon functions cause we cannot understand our demon functions so any progress we make on them will be "oh I am so good at [personality function]". 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

sounds like a score board for S.M.A.R.T. goals. I really need more meetings with friends to hold me accountable. Last few years I have mostly been putting out fires in my life and dealing with health issues. hard to get ahead, but having good goals definitely helps put out those fires faster.

same thought, but it's a great thing to see another perspective from other people. I thought that Eisenhower matrix isn't worth of time but then one guy explained it to me from a different perspective and now I feel like a new born vegan like "why don't everybody use this matrix". The way how Tina represents it is way more relatable than pure explanation of smart goals. also, smart goals are not "the original idea". The structure was alive way earlier, just it was a time when somebody described it and named it. it's not like "smart goals" system was not applicable previously.

The video was great. I wanted to implement it as well. However, I didn't quite get the leading and lagging metrics section. Is it basically a set of metrics to show compare your progress with? Reminds me a bit of atomic habits where he talks about identity. Where to become a marathon runner(marathon runner = lagging metric), you simply need to start running consistently as a system(daily running= leading metric)? Am i understanding it correctly?

I have a question wich is really important for me, and I dont know if you gonna be able to gave your point of view on it. But if you could take some time to answer it, with your opinion. I would really appreciate it. In your video at 4:40 minute, you say by exemple the guitar is pretty cool, but once you start learning "well it cool to see, but is'nt cool to learn". That point is a little bit gray, when it's come to your explanation. By your speach, it's seem that you say " than you have to find an other "activities / job / past time "that is making you more motivate to learn". I might not understand that correctly, but you wanted to say something more about :" find a way to learn the guitar, but "the manner that you learn it have to be more appeling to you"? Was that your point ?
