The Second Census - Numbers 26

Actions have consequences. Israel is preparing to enter the Promised Land. God commands Moses to number the fighting men again. The only people remaining from the original census are Moses, Caleb, and Joshua. The entire previous generation has died in the wilderness. In this chapter, we see which tribes have thrived, which have lost people, and which have lost LOTS of people. We also see the directive for how the lands will eventually be divided.
