Having gotten out of JWs summer 2020, it blows my mind how even this cult is similar to them. As a JW, I thought we were so unique. But all cults are the same at their core: the end is right around the corner, you have to perform works for salvation, you can be shunned if you're disciplined, cherry-picked scriptures, rely heavily on publications other than the Bible, make prophecy that fails to happen, gaslight members, etc. It finally hit me that I was not a part of something good, decent, unique, honest, and holy. It is devious, dangerous, evil, misleading, and oppressive. I am so happy to have been rescued by God and I am trying hard to clean out the Watchtower cobwebs from my mind and heart and move forward in Christ.

I have been thinking the same thing. I have gotten out of Mormonism and this cult is quite similar to it as well. It saddens me to see this cult deceiving so many people. I am glad you have found Christ. It is not common to find Ex-Mormons and Ex-JWs pursuing Christ. Most of them either become lukewarm, agnostic, or full-blown atheist because once they find out that they have been deceived, they don't know what to believe in anymore. I almost fell down that path after leaving the church, but by God's grace, he rescued me when I read his word (the Bible).

The truth will set us free from contagious thoughts. It’s still crazy to think that the Codex Vaticanus was written in the 4th century AD. While the Dead Sea scrolls have been a bit hectic to say the least what remains is the very essence of the words “all things will come to pass but the word will last”. It is a shame that people’s own opinions interject teachings and try confiding in niche out of context verses as the disguising foundations of adequate teachings which shows weakness and as examples of failures in faith. As an example of God in my life I recently went back to looking into the faith with an old small missionary gift of a New Testament Bible coupled with the book of Psalms. In this walk I decided to sit on a bench and just randomly open the Bible and saw Psalms chapter 139. That chapter is all about being hidden from God yet his presence is always with me. I go to the mountains yet he’s still there where can I find a place without his presence? This isn’t to be given victory points like Pharisees pridefully praying in public, it’s a silent calming moment that while it has no supernatural bearing it resonated me as I was heading out of my house from where I’d normally dedicated to read my Bible as of late. Sure people can call that a convenient page but this also falls in line with Jesus’s teachings of not showing miracles as the Pharisees would say the sky is suppose to look like that and that the stars were set in the sky with an existing purpose. It’s odd how these words don’t age. My message to you is to continue but also let those words resonate in your mind and meditate on context. Without it, we will fall like fools who thought of these outlandish ideologies or scams. Hosea 4:6 said it best “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Peace be with you.

I thought they were hating because he was the top seller every single month. (Im sure that played a role) but he and I bonded over Christ and I was starting to become his mentee at work. Well one day he asked me to bible study and I agreed to go. He invited me to this house in a normal looking neighborhood but the house was completely empty inside. He had said he was just moving but it was.....bone dry empty. So I already started feeling a bit weird. So I get there and hes cooking and theres only one other person there a young lady. I was told she would be the one having bible study with me and no one else is was coming. So I was like haha okay...😅😅 Long story short she starts this bible study which is really more like a demonstration that I found eerily specific. Like said in the video, the scriptures were so out of context. The flipping to certain scriptures in order to prove what she was saying was so unsettling to me for some reason. I let her go along with it until the end because well one I was alone in a house in a town I wasnt familiar with with people I didnt know. But once she was done I just nodded and said yeah wow this really interesting and then I left as quickly as possible. I will never forget thay experince though.

After talking to the girl for a little bit, she mentioned that they were studying the female form of God an Quoted Galatian 4:26, Genesis 1:26-27 and others. My excitement quickly faded away when I heard about “god the mother.” She contacted me the next day and we had a very intense conversation about god the mother. God is amazing because I've been in contact and bible studies with a lady from this church. The things she teaches was new to me: keeping the Sabbath, observing the passover and mother god. I realised the Sabbath and the passover is good to keep but I felt pressure to keep them because she said it's the only way to get blessing and be saved. I cut her off for a few weeks because she stated telling me about the second coming and that didn't sit right with me. So I spent some time with God on my own through prayer and in the bible. I had questions about observing these and the importance if it. I came across verses that said we are saved by grace and faith believing in Jesus we are saved. Peter through the wisdom of God said the gentiles shouldn't carry the yoke his ancestors weren't able to carry but through faith we are saved. Then I come across this video today. Its only by His grace. I am completely cutting ties with this woman because all I need is God and building my relationship with Him and listening to His word! Thank you for this video. God bless you

As someone desperate to find anything that brought me closer to God, I feel sad that this is what my commitment led to but glad I found out sooner than later (a couple of hrs after baptism to be exact and being exposed to the church study ways for a couple of days😂) I've been a believer in Christianity since I was baptised as a baby but later fully experienced God's love at the age of 16. I turned to Christ and tried to live the life set out for me, obviously failing as known 😅. At my current age of 21, I thought it would be best to commit my life more to God, thus open to anything "Christian" like sounding. I willingly went to their study sessions for five days for roughly an hr (a one on one with the pastor accompanied with the person who brought me to their church) and got baptised after I covered ten subjects. Being flooded with information and scriptures being picked out to back up their claims, it felt like the scripture was being used out of context but I didn't have the urge to test that as the pastor was speaking with such confidence. I had the feeling of, "wow I'm learning new things" things I did know (not everything taught) but because it was taught differently, I doubted what I learnt and fully committed to what I heard from the pastor. It was always followed by, "do you have any questions?" I never truly understood the saying, "I don't know what I don't know" until asked this question during studying of Subjects and topics. They convinced me that to get into heaven; you had to be baptised as soon as possible, for tomorrow was unknown. As much as they backed this up with scripture, it didn't occur to me to stop and think about what I was getting myself baptised into. Thinking I was doing this all for the Glory of God and how this would further strengthen my bond with him, I was merely fooling myself. An hr after I was baptised, I had the urge to search this church up. A feeling to test its claims to be valid as it's teaching goes, the church of God is the only church that God will save because all the other churches didn't follow one of many, e.g. "Passover" teachings and how if they didn't do this, they would be essentially denied eternal life even though they believed in Jesus Christ. Etc etc. I'm glad that God showed me this. May anyone desperate to be part of a community that teaches the bible commit themselves to the Bible first, as stated in this video, in Jesus mighty name. Amen. I was taken by how accurate Mike would speak on the church of God members. Now, realising what I did not know and now know was the game changer for me, so thank you.

Hi Christine, I will pray for you right now that you do find a good church that God is working in and can use you in. Mike did one short video a while back on how to know if a church is good/Biblical title (how to choose a good church). I would check that out. And just searching for verses that talk about what good leaders are like and their qualifications and verses on the Church's role in the world. Maybe you have already found a sound church truly following Jesus which is great. If not, please don't give up. You need to be gathering with other believers. Hope my comment wasn't presumptuous. I just wanted to provide a little guidance and encouragement. I'm glad you didn't get caught up in that church you talked about.

Granted I always had this voice in the back of my head telling me that this wasn’t right, especially when it came to mother God and the sending coming, but I had been doing studies for months before even learning this and was already in the belief that well I guess it’s true. Of course that little voice was the Holy Spirit, but I can’t even express how uncomfortable that service was, it was horrible. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough haha, thank God he was with us and opened our eyes before we got too deep.

A few hours ago, my mom's older sister came and "evangelized" to my mom for the nth time. It seems that the group is in a hurry to evangelize because Passover is just two weeks away. I was just there in the background (cooking in the kitchen), listening and wondering if I needed to jump into the conversation to plant seeds of doubt into my aunt's mind. The conversation was starting to get heated so I decided to sit it out. My aunt didn't attempt to evangelize to me and my dad maybe because she knows we can deal with her evangelizing. She did talk to my grandma, though, inviting her to the annual Passover meal a few weeks from now. I was a bit rattled as I was listening even though I knew what my aunt was saying was refutable, perhaps because she spoke so confidently and authoritatively. Thanks to you guys in this video, I got reminded once again how to deal with a situation like that. I think you guys missed something important in this video. I think you should've also talked about what exactly they believe mankind need saving from. I may be wrong in my understanding, but I remember my aunt and his son telling me once a few years ago that our salvation was from the coming destruction of the world with fire. The only refuge is with their mother. I don't think they believe that we need salvation from sin ultimately.

Then by the of the Holy Spirit, I can hear clearly what the person was saying to my bro on the second story on the opposite side of where they were. It was crazy, but I heard every word. It went against the gospel spoken by Paul and lived by Jesus. Any way, I came down and I started to talk with him. I listened, and as he presented the Bible, it was talking about mother God. Such nutty aspect. After getting into the Bible, he did not want to talk. Then he brought another person who was "the teacher." Then we spoke. Then the teacher started to get upset and left. Never say him or the group again. Thank God for Him stepping in for who knows what would havenhaooened with my brother.

They were losing team members. A doctor friend had called the mormons as a joke regarding me to win me to their side. So was having frequent visits. If GOD convicted me to do it, and HE did, I would look for the weaker missionary and ask GOD for Scripture to demonstrate TRUTH. TRUTH is so much more a reflection of GOD's LOVE than cult lies. GOD used HOLY BIBLE TRUTH to change lives caught in darkness. Of this I have no doubt! lucifer is busy these days deceiving those who do not take the time to learn about GOD in the HOLY BIBLE for themselves.

Due to me not being extremely religious, I was just listening to their logic because of how harmless it seemed, but my girlfriend -- pure, honest christian -- kept yelling at me to get away. She is Korean from South Korea, so she warned me saying how common this stuff is and how crazy they are. After seeing this content it is surreal to me how so many people get tricked because initally all they talk about is Jesus Christ and the bible, so you never question them. Thank you so much for this Mike! I had a lengthy interaction with this group at my former college in 2014. I had recently read through genesis and I got to School and I felt the Lord telling me to read revelation. So I sat in the quad and the moment I finish the book a guy comes up to me asking if I'm a Christian and then goes into the quick mother god script. We have a short conversation but the more I ask questions, and say things like "I thought 'made in Our image' was referring to the Trinity" he decides that he'd like to set up another time for us to talk so he can bring his leader to answer more of my questions. I happily oblige and think if he can bring his mentor, I can bring mine. So I invite my pastor to come along, but unfortunately he's busy and he says it seems like I'm handing it well. So I went to the meeting alone and was completely filled with the Holy Spirit. He was allowing me to quote scripture that I didn't even know I remembered. At the end I said I would think and pray about there interpretations if they would about mine. They agreed, and I sincerely hope they did. Either way, if they weren't able to take anything away from that conversation I know the Lord has certainly used it to bless me.

THANK YOU GUYS for tackling this cult and getting the word out - and for your fair, factual treatment of it. I was approached by 2 women in the grocery store late one evening and they cherry-picked 3-4 verses from the Bible and tried to build a case for a “hither-to hidden” new revelation in the Bible... but of course they didn’t lead with that. Their argument was obviously very much relying on my lack of familiarity with the Bible, especially prophecies in Revelation relating to Jerusalem and even the woman birthing the child (Israel and Christ)! Their opening statement to me was “have you ever heard anything about the female god of the Bible? I knew this was going to be some weird cult stuff, but no I had never heard that before so I engaged with them. They proceeded to present their 3-4 verses, out of context, with strange new interpretations that didn’t really connect clearly with one another (they begged for elaboration and additional study. Like a hook and bait). When I replied politely that I thought they were taking those verses out of context, and that actually this that and the other, that’s when they whipped out the line about “ah, yes, you would say that, but see we have a new revelation that has been hidden in the scriptures until now for the faithful. So now wouldn’t you be interested if God had something new to say to you?” Hmm... I believe scripture repeatedly warns us about false prophets, and those who would add to or alter God’s revealed Word! And is quite complete in itself in its current form. I told them no, I reject that idea based upon Scripture itself, and I wasn’t interested in hearing any more about a supposed new revelation that contradicted God’s Word. Christian brothers and sisters, know the REAL truth so that you can identify false teaching when you hear or see it! Pray that the Holy Spirit would give you discernment. Study the Word and truth, and pursue closeness with others who also value and hold fast to it. God bless you, gentlemen (creators of this video)!

They tried to grab me the same way and then we got tied up on the difference in Christianity of being under grace vs under the law. They kept trying to get in my personal space and that was the tipping point for me to end the conversation, which I regret because once I had about 5 minutes to calm down and talk to my parents I was able to find the verses that I wish I could have shared with them about the Good News of Jesus. They seemed genuinely taken back by the idea that we were no longer slaves to the law.

About 1948 is not only about the age 30, but they emphasize that’s the year Israel was “reestablished” and a large study in the Fig Tree. Also I have some random content I’ll be sending you that’ll give move inside information :) I can’t thank you enough for all of your videos information and words of encouragement, much needed for me as I’m still extremely uneasy and working on my relationship with Jesus who I know pulled me away from this false group.

Thanks for the video. One of their members just approached me on campus today and started talking about Passover, Jesus’s new name, and the fig (Israel getting conquered and coming back 1948). We’re meeting up again tomorrow so I’m taking notes right now so I can come prepared. They’re really going after kids on campus (I’m in NC)

Back in 2013 two guys in suits came up to me in a Barnes n noble and asked me if I had heard of mother God. I said no God is our Father, and they grabbed a Bible off the shelf and went to Galatians 4:26 which says Jerusalem is above which is the mother of us all (something like that). That’s the only verse they pointed out. They told me Christ had come back secretly and He was a woman who they could tell me how to meet if I wanted to join them.. apparently she was on Rutgers campus in New Brunswick NJ 😏 I pointed them to the script where it says Jesus will be coming on the clouds and His coming will be like the lightning which flashes in the east and is visible in the west so will the coming of the Son of man be.. They said it’s basically a metaphor. I don’t remember everything they or I said but it was enough that they got frustrated and left. They went down the escalator (we were on the top floor) and stared at me the whole time as they descended... super creepy. But I have never met anyone who had heard of this and I’ve never heard about it since!!!

The parrable of the "cloud" means flesh meaning when jesus said hed come by the cloud hed return in the flesh and the lighting usually means "gods words" or when god speaks, and basically that means jesus will return in the flesh and preach the gospel to the whole world "east to the west"

Thank you for doing this video. Two young men knocked on my door today and was trying to tell me about "mother God" and keeping the Passover perfectly. I asked them questions and shared the gospel with them. They didn't seem interested very long. I asked if I could pray with them before they left and they said no bc I didn't share their beliefs and they had to reach other people. All of sudden as they were walking away out of nowhere I started praying out loud so they could hear me pleading for God to forgive them for they not know what they do, open their eyes and to help them for they were sharing a false religion. I then yelled that there is one God, one faith.... I think the Spirit might've taken over because that isn't my character to step outside and praying loudly to God. I can't even remember everything I said but I proclaimed Yahweh boldly. I've never ever heard of this cult before. God keeps sending me people from cults.. Mormons, JWs, Muslims, Shincheonji, Black Hebrew Israellites, etc. I try to share the gospel with them but donetimes it feels like it isn't working. I just pray that I at least seeds are planted and God will bring the harvest.

These people approached me at Trader Joe's today. Was total Heresy! 2nd time they approached me. First time was in JCPENNEY and two women walked up to me asking if she could show me that God was a woman in the Bible. I said absolutely not! They walked away. Today at Trader Joe's, they stopped me and invited me to Bible study. I told them I study my Bible every day and just finished a One year chronological and starting a new study and didn't have time to add anything else. They persisted and invited me to celebrate Passover with them so I asked more questions because I thought maybe they were some kind of messianic church. Then they stated the Sabbath nonsense and told me Christians worship sun god on Sundays. Sounded like zeitgeist KZbin video teachings from 2011. They tried to show me scriptures and everytime I quoted a scriptures that refuted what they were saying. Then they said something about god the mother and I asked her to repeat what she said because that phrase triggered my memory to the JCPenney experience. I told them no, the only worship of a mother was a queen of heaven and that was forbidden by God, so I wouldn't be interested in their Bible study. They persisted and I share Revelation 22:18-19 and they suddenly had to go say you have to come to a Bible study to understand. I said no thanks because God said let him who lacks wisdom ask of God, so I don't need them to teach me to understand the Word of God and neither do they. They didn't seem to like that.

I am so glad that you have done work on this. When I moved into in my new house I realized there was a fairly small church down the street. It drew my attention very quickly because of the name and how many people were there and there for long periods of time! Thank yall for doing the hard work of getting all this info and it gives us people a chance to use it and try to speak to them! I really like both of these channels God Bless each of you and your families and all of your work. You are making a difference in peoples lives!

I am a Christian and I met some of these guys when they were recruiting on my college campus. I went to a couple of services and studied with one of the members. I never committed to them, I just never fully believed. I stayed longer than I should have partly because one of the men I became close to, I know he’s a good guy but I just think he’s caught. Another guy that was apart of the group also studied with me and I was very leery of him from the beginning, just something in my gut that said something wasn’t right about him. I was invited to the big church right before spring break and little to my surprise that was my baptism, but I did not go through it, I never believed them even though I believe some principles that they teach. Fast forward two years later, I came across the guy that initially recruited me, just wanting to check up on him and his family since 2020 was such a trying year. He was doing well but all of a sudden I get a call from the other guy, a number I didn’t recognize but it was an area code of my college. I picked up and we’ve been studying for the past two weeks. Thank God I came across these videos, I still did not fully believed, I know I just need to fully cut them off. One thing about them was that the younger women were always very weird to me, not friendly at all, sort of like they were forced not to talk to any other men. The only friendly woman was of one of the wives of a leader. That fact never sat right with me.

ILJCN (Colossians 3:17), This is how you can tell Truth from error: James 3:13-18 kjv in God's Holy Scriptures: 13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. --------------------------- God is not about *violence, not about the "love of money" & not about *immorality of any kind. Also, God is gentle, kind, long-suffering & *easy to be intreated/approached. Notice the HUGE *difference between the "true God" and all the *false ones? 🤔💕🙏🙏✝️🕯️🦋

They’re in Alaska! My son was working out at his gym when a classmate of his from high school started conversation about Christ. He invited my son to his “church” on a Saturday. My son was really suspicious but went. When he came home he was traumatized. I’d never heard of them! My son came to Christ on his own and after sitting down I explained how cults like this exist and because they told him some really awful things does not mean it’s true. After understanding he talked to our preacher and was baptized a week later. We are a Christian family that does not preach or pressure. Simply spirituality through Christ is what we thrive for and we do not judge others. If I’d have known what this cult was I would have educated him and saved him a lot of confusion and trauma. Parents be weary

Very interesting point about the group's lack of an online presence. I had an encounter with two members on my university campus a few years ago. I asked if they had some website or a pamphlet so I could look at it on my own. They stonewalled very strongly and would not give me anything.

I was approached yesterday and I was crying to God asking Him f my faith could be that easily shaken. I fasted and trusted the Holy Spirit for the conversation of today (8 June 2023). They are so well trained in only using specific verses to make their point. And their "trinity" conversation is so flawd. I'm grateful to God that I could come across this video. I decided to record this 'teaching' sessions and the person was mad, apparently next time they will take the phones to 'protect the truth'. I informed him, Jesus is the truth and doesn't need a mortal to defend or protect Him. Not sure he'll return 😅

I recently had two girls come to my door proclaiming a mother god and to my absolute surprise, I was going to hell because I didn't accept mother god for salvation. We sat down, talked back and forth with scripture but they were like dear in headlights verse after verse. After awhile, they said they had to go and would come back within a week. I haven't seen them since. I pray for them and really hope they've left that cult or do come back. I'd love to show them more scripture. Great video brothers.

When I worked in Philadelphia, I went out for a lunch "Bible study" with an old coworker. It turned into him explaining that his church is the only true church being led by Jesus now, the Sabbath is on Saturday, all holidays are pagan, something about Passover and communion being necessary to be saved. He pulled verses out of context but never mentioned the "Mother God." Even though I was strong in my biblical beliefs, it still spooked me. I said I couldn't continue studies with him. I didn't realize until he gave me a flyer for his church's fundraiser that he was part of this cult. Looking back, I regret being fearful and dismissive and not showing him the true Gospel. I haven't seen him in years, and I hope he's gotten out of this thing.

Yeah, I believe all those things except the part of Passover being necessary to be saved, although it says in text that it should be observed forever, and I am not associated with this church or any church please do not connect these religious beliefs with only this church, thank you.

My husband and teenage daughter were just approached at the mall by two young men who invited them to their "Bible study" -- to learn about Mother God. Thankfully as soon as they heard "Mother God," they said they weren't interested (my daughter with a huge sigh and shaking her head, lol), but when they told me about it, my jaw hit the floor. I didn't think we'd ever encounter this cult! So grateful for this teaching, for us and for anyone who might encounter it just randomly walking through the mall. I wish I'd been there so I could have pulled these videos up for them!

THE BIGGEST CULT RIGHT NOW, EVER GROWING TOO

Thanks a bunch for sharing this information! I had an interaction with these people when I was in undergrad about 11 years ago. The lady came to me, on campus, asking whether I was willing to take a survey about what I think about spiritual things. Then they started engaging me in a conversation about mother God & other things. Then they pulled the book of Galatians on me & quoted the heavenly Jerusalem passage. At the time, I wasn't too verses in systematically examining passages and explaining verses based on their context. But I did know that they were absolutely wrong. Therefore, I used what I knew, Ray Comfort's Way of the Master system. After putting the attempted preacher through that, then I asked her whether she thinks she'll be going to heaven or hell. Then she responded angrily, "according what you're implying, I guess hell..." Then the Korean lady with her, who was less versed in English, then pulled her away.". Afterwards, I then looked them up online, and found some blogs that explained some of their heresies. Also, a bunch of places where people were arguing with their member back & forth. Then, I forgot about then until today! ☹️

You have a couple (JWS, LDS, Passion Bible, Mother of God, and the Mark series.) Can u put these on DVD? You know, one topic per DVD? I would buy that. This way, if ur content did get taken off, you can do it this way and still get the word out. I love digital, however, as you know, we are being censored. Plus, this will help fund Bible thinker. This way we also have 2 options: hard copy and digital copy.
