I have a theory, what if Teyvat's divine laws set by Celestia suppress power. Like what if all beings naturally get a power down when in Teyvat. Another thing that's weird is how the Teyvat (Genshin) elements are named, when in fact they're counterparts to the elements established by Honkai games (pyro - fire, cryo - ice, electro - thunder). So what if Celestia suppresses the original powers and replaces them with their own versions?

i feel like genshin is wayy more closely related to honkai than star rail because it shares more themes and the topic of aeons emanators and so on doesnt really fit genshin how herrschers sea of quanta and the imaginary tree fit genshin and we even see otto watch davalin

im pretty sure its much more of a possibility if teyvats universe was instead a bubble universe like they said in hi3 i really cant see hi3 hsr and gi existing all in one universe with the same exp characters its more likely there all bubble universes of each other with different out comes yes they are connected but with genshin its more of its own story then connected to hi3 or star rail i mean the company is hoyoverse and with there other games having characters from the same game appearing in the next and how all three games have different models they all likley exist in different bubble universes welt is a great example since he comes from the hi3 universe and traveled to the star rail universe

Tbh, I see Teyvat as a bubble universe. Strange geography, seemingly little world, no seasons so far (it's either spring/summer or winter), strange flying objects in the sky (Celestia being an anchor? Why not), strange time structure - everything is so strange if you look closely, it looks acceptable just because for us its "strangeness" is called "fantasy genre".

One thing to add to the idea that Tartaglia trained in the Sea of Qaunta is that. The SoQ's time is very fractured and unstable. it is entirely possible for him to be training for months or even years while it has only being a few days in Teyvat (iirc in his story it was only 3 days in Teyvat but 3 months in the abyss?).

Also, I realized that the most likely reason why Genshin has a gâcha system is because it takes place in the sea of quantum. If you think about it, how exactly are we getting these copies or clones of these characters that don’t impact the game’s story. If for example you get one of the archon’s in the gâcha and play through the prologue as that powerful archon, then why don’t the other characters react accordingly and just OBSERVE you as the main character. Because the character you procured came directly from the sea of quanta; thus they naturally are entangled with your particles. In cutscenes, entanglement occurs that causes the main character to swap places instantaneously with the gâcha character because both systems of particles are complexly entangled. Also, during summoning the character from the sea of quantum, there is a 50/50 probably to get the character because each summon represents two resonance possibilities for the 5 star characters (one for banner and one for standard) and you have a 50% probability to procure one of those characters. If the gâcha system didn’t exist, then most likely none of the hoyoverse games would exhibit the sea of quanta.

Interesting theory. But didn't Neuvilette have a constellation called Leviathan? Btw. Teyvat is really unique like bubble universe. As compared to other Hoyo games, I see a lot of similarities between Teyvat and Planet from Vitas arc from Honkai Impact 3rd.
