Apparently high ranking Ultramarines get a arming chamber with a statue of Guilliman in it. I wonder what Guilliman would have thought of that when he returned? I loved how the initial scene on the planet shows some smashed eggs followed by some paper unburning and reforming. I see the eggs as the common explanation of entropy. How theoretically if you had infinite time and eggs, a smashed egg could reassemble itself, the odds are just infinitesimal. At the next moment you get this happening with the paper. This shows that Tzeentch has control over infinite time allowing the near impossible to become probable. This foreshadows the Sorcerers control over time as well.

Put the "Astartes" guy in charge of all 40k animation!!!! Pretty sure the whole 40k community at this point agree that Astartes and this Secret Level episode are the two best 40k animations, not only from just the "that was awesome" point of view, but also lore! Imagine this guy making an episode for every major chapter. He's a master of "show, don't tell", and Warhammer is a community game, so just like this, do all the showing on screen, and get those from outside the community to join in to get the little details by joining the discussion with those who do know. Of course GW has the damn recipe for success in the palm of their hands, now I'm just waiting for them to mess it up.

The weapon young Titus is dragging at the start is an Astartes combat knife, the same one adult Titus uses against the cultists, when a chaotic version stabs the Veteran Sergent, when Titus kills the chaos sorceress, and is even seen at the very end being dragged by a child Titus again. Its a easy mistake to make due to the size difference, but a shocking amount of people I've seen keep making this mistake, dispite the significance placed on it during the entire episode.

I hope they learn from it and give us the 40K series we want. That being said, holy fuck the combat in that episode was glorious and everything I wanted to see from Space Marines. It was so smooth and fast and brutal. Really showcased how Astartes are efficient and fearless and exactly why only a handful of Marines can make such a dramatic impact. Controversial theory... Titus is a lost Primarch reborn (2nd or 11th). After re-watching SM1 cutscenes, SM2 cutscenes, and the secret level I am convinced. His aversion to chaos, his absolute fearlessness, and his ability to withstand even the most extremes of damage. Nemeroth calls him brother in SM1, as he can feel the warp in him. Metaurus' vision of Titus stabbing him hints at how quickly Titus grew up. GW is definitely setting him up for something big.

I think when they said "Mortality Absolute", they prob mean it's a high risk job that will guarantee friendly casualties and not "everyone who takes this job will die", prompting the chapter to send veterans to limit that. There's no point for any chapter to send their men to die in a suicide mission (especially veterans) when they could just contact the inquisition, who will then contact the GK to deal with it instead.

Things I noticed in this video: 1. I believe that's a knife that Kid Titus was holding. No way he would be able to drag and kill anything with a chainsword meant for Space Marines 2. I'm pretty sure it was indicated after the show that the last antagonist is a Tzeentch sorcerer and not a daemon. (I think Chaos Sorcerers and Daemons are pretty different, just saying) 3. Minor detail but in a way, the parchments were of some small use. They probably served as an indicator that they were getting near to their destination, given that the squad did not have a map guide in their helmets. 4. Is it pronounced/spelled Tzanagors or Tzaangors? I'm pretty sure its the latter. Overall, no hate. Just pointing out what I think. I could be wrong✌️😅
