And what makes the Iron Warriors so dangerous, is not only did they retain their dicplin and command structure, but from what I understand they're the only Traitor Legion that has bothered to maintain and impove upon their logistics as well. Even now they're still able to replace their loses at a rate on par to how they could during the Great Crusade. The Black Legion themselves are known to petition and make bargains with the Iron Warriors for major logistical aid at times. From stealing Gene Seed in real space, to supplying the Black Legion with new war gear and Demon Engins for their wars - something that the other Traitor Legions lack the recources to do like the Iron Warriors can.

Here are some ideas for consideration: What if every Astartes Legion staged a coup on the Emperor and took over the Imperium? How would they rule it and how successful would it be, compared to the canon Imperium? (this is all legions on the same side with minimal Chaos influence on events) What if 2 Primarchs held the Warmaster position cooperatively, under the assumption that those who would take issue at one Warmaster would respect the other one more and they could thus overall be more productive? Which nonhuman species would be the best fit for Chaos to take over and attain galactic dominance? If any one Loyalist and Traitor Primarch switched sides for the Horus Heresy, who would you choose for the best outcome for either the Loyalists, or the Traitors? What if the Silent King never got rid of his Command Protocols and took (almost) all the Necrons with him out of the galaxy to perhaps find a new and better one and come across the Tyranids? What if the Great Crusade had all the Primarchs and none turned Traitor, but there were no Astartes? What if the Beast Orks succeeded in defeating the Imperium? What if the Raptor Project succeeded/was never sabotaged? How would each Heresy/Crusade-era Primarch and Legion fare against the modern Tau Empire? What if one of the Primarchs landed on a xenos world and was raised by them? What if the Eldar managed to kill Angron before he was enslaved? What if another power rose to power during M31 instead of the Imperium, such as the Ullanor Orks, the Rangdan, or the Necrons via the Silent King returning early? What if the Beast Orks grew to threaten the Imperium before the Heresy could happen? What if the Tyranids arrived in M31, before the Heresy could happen? What if all of the Perpetuals stayed loyal to the Emperor and led the Great Crusade?
@lucas13gutierrez49Ай бұрын
What if the Raptor Project succeeded/was never sabotaged? All the countermeasures created for when the I, VI, XIII legions arrived or even a suicidal attack by the sons of the Gorgon as revenge but this surpasses him to avoid a war on 2 fronts, a war that not even he with all the gifts of the gods of chaos at his mercy could win Horus knows that he has no more time, he will only have to attack the golden throne with all his forces "fix the teleportation to the door of eternity" "but father we have not yet managed to conquer the door. Sanguinius has killed Angron and his sons have entered a murderous rage that distinguishes us between allies and enemies" answers one of his sons anguished "do as I say" Horus prepares to strike the blow that will end his father's empire
@Green815Ай бұрын
I don't think the Legiones Astartes would have been able to maintain unity even if they got rid of the Emperor. Assuming they turn him into a giant battery and use him in much the same way the current Imperium does, the Primarchs were simply too divided and hated eachother too much to actually maintain a galaxy-spanning empire for long. After a few hundred, a few thousand years, there'd be breakaway empires run by individual Primarchs, perpetually at war with eachother.

PLEASE DO A VIDEO IF THE EMPEROR HAD HELPED ANGRON ON NUCERIA, DO IT AND MY LIFE IS YOURS
@jakubgodlewski9104Ай бұрын
I think about this scenario way more than would be healthy. I think Angron didn't really consider victory an option, simply decided that dying while fighting off the oppressor is better than being a slave. If the Emperor just annihilated the threat for Angron, it would be similar to Mortarion's situation, and thus Angron would resent Emps. However, if the Emperor gave the rebellion weapons and they actually succeeded, Angron's philosophy would sort of need a reset. His main goal in life was hurting the High Riders as much as possible before they kill him. Actually succeeding in overthrowing them would leave him asking "What now? I didn't think I would get this far" and so he would be very susceptible to Emperor's offer of recruitment. I think a being as intelligent as Emps could come up with arguments like "You faced unimaginable odds, simply wanting to die fighting your oppressor. Look what you managed to achieve instead. I can promise you, a death you desire is still your fate, but the oppressor you shall face will be much more vile than the High Riders. Before that, there's countless planets awaiting for you to free them from similar oppressors." I think Angron would accept that, even if begrudgingly. The World Eaters would operate a bit differently, perhaps focusing more on sacrifice for the righteous goal. Angron himself could potentially see his existence with the Nails embedded as a sacrifice he's constantly making, as he is still needed to better the state of the galaxy. He was promised a meaningful death fighting a particularly dire oppressor, and he awaits it impatiently. I think it would be extremely satisfying for Angron to die at Istvaan V as a loyalist, causing absolute carnage on the battlefield, his Nails already soon to finish him off. He kills hundreds upon hundreds of Traitors, until Horus himself teleports in to face him, pummelling him like a mad dog. Angron sees the other Shattered Legions escaping thanks to the carnage he caused with the XIIth, and understands Horus to be the oppressor destined to slay him. As they duel, Angron thinks back to Nuceria, to his gladiatorial brothers and sisters, he thinks of his Legion and feels at peace with his fate. He is slain by Horus, but manages to wound him as well. Bonus point of order: Ferrus Manus, although pissed at Fulgrim, sees Angron charge into the fray first, and decides "nah, if Angron does it, it's too reckless", which allows the Iron Hands to actually have some interesting plot development lmao
@jesusojeda7850Ай бұрын
It depends- if the "help" comes at Angron's last stand against the slavers, we would have a timeline with him dying in peace and his legion could end up as loyalist. If we want to make it interesting, the "help" should arrive before he gets the nails so we can have a healthy Angron to rise up to his full potential.
@scottbannerman1624Ай бұрын
@@jakubgodlewski9104I like to think that had the butchers nails not been implanted he became the Empath primarch he was meant to be. The emperor aids as opposed to left his people to die and that this inclines Angron more to fight for the Imperium. Wild that he was an empath that could take others suffering, but on a Primarch level. He is summoned to save Horus when he is stabbed by the Kinebrach Anathame. He does so and then it would diverge into many potential points. 1. He saves Horus but it's too late, chaos have corrupted and convinced him to turn traitor. Angron sensing this due to his immense empath ability, whilst empathising, tries to talk him down and becomes the first casualty in the heresy 2. He reaches and saves Horus and due to his empath ability understands and agrees with Horus. Then uses his empath abilities to turn other Primarchs to the heresy 3. He arrives too late, senses what's about to happen and knowing Horus is super juiced on chaos love sauce, is able to slip away and warn everyone earlier. I do like your point about him viewing Horus as another oppressor and being one to have more of a dog in the fight so to speak.
@MrOgynyАй бұрын
Angerboy is the most pathetic. He should have killed old dude; but he was too much of a p@ssy, and got the nails and had to do it anyway. If each primark is an aspect of the emperor, angron was his vagina.
@CF-or3ciАй бұрын
@jakubgodlewski9104 He wasnt mad because he wasn’t allowed to die but instead he was furious that the emps let all of his friends die and took him without permission(which is fair. Pretty shtty dad). If he didn’t just blast them from orbit but instead joined the fight and won together with Angron, Angron probably would be insanely grateful but still would hate him in time since serving him in his army is basically the same as being the gladiator and a slave

Abbadon himself told that arch-daemon that Angron was the ONLY factor that would carry the day, and they went knowing they didn't have the supply lines, nor the forces, nor the element of surprise - nor much of a plan at all, beyond Angron merely existing.

Quoth TV Tropes. "Unlike other Chaos Space Marines, the Iron Warriors don't use psykers, Chaos magic, daemons or such other Warp trickery as part of their arsenal, nor do they possess heavy mutations that could give them an edge over Loyalist Space Marines (they indeed make it a point to replace mutations with cybernetics so as to stay as physically uncorrupted as is possible for a servant of Chaos). Instead, they fight strictly with strategy and rather standard equipment at the level of Loyalist Space Marines. Despite (or perhaps even because of) this fact, the Iron Warriors are arguably the most dreaded and feared of the Traitor Legions, since they don't need such tricks, instead just being so coldly efficient, strategically brilliant, thoroughly destructive and obscenely brutal against their enemies that the forces of the Imperium would rather face any of the other forces of Chaos before they ever did them. The Iron Warriors are just really fucking good at morale-destroying wholesale slaughter." And another passage states. "The first rule of siege warfare is "whatever works, works" and the Iron Warriors have taken this to heart. Infiltration, cannon fodder, secret passages, tunnels, taking advantage of traitors, and bringing in the big guns whenever they can are just a few of the myriad unpleasant ways the Iron Warriors will crack open a fortress and kill everyone inside." Not to mention, the Iron Warriors also make use of (horrifying) but effective technology, probably from Vashtorr's influence.

Ave Dominus Nox, u have to read/listen to the new Morvenn Vahl Book, the Antagonist is a Night Lord by the Name Kol Rakhul the Death of Saints. He launched an fullout attack on Ophelia VII. Maybe its a good sign that Night Lords are coming back and Decimus is also out there gathering the Legion.

So glad to see this upload schedule. I've been here since the autistic hedgehog days. I was there when the first Warhammer lore video was written. I'll be here for the lore video that marks a million subs. Youve been in the backdrop of YEARS of my life majorkill your videos have been with me through the brightest and darkest days. Thanks for each and every one of them sir.

Hello Majorkill, Would you kindly make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, the Ecclesiarchy? Pretty please? Thank you.

Could you do a video on the military forces of the Mechanicum/Dark Mechanicum/ and the Mechanicus

Do the same for loyalist legions, would be a great video!

I'm a simple man; I see a Majorkill video, and I watch and like it. Sometimes I even comment.

I get it that this is your job and sponsors are part of it but when you spend more than 20% of video marketing stuff it just really gets frustrating.

I think you should go over Messages for Dad. The fanfic had evolved to the point it has as much lore as the Roboutian Heresy.

Iron Warriors are my favourite traitors, just bellow would Black legion and Death Guard, all three were amazing pre and post heresy mainly because they actually work together to get the job done. Even when they fail it's not because they were fighting, it's either over confidence causing them to mess up or plot armour from their opponents!

What If Kharn joined the anti nails rebellion.
@Runner-hd7ugАй бұрын
He wouldn’t, him implanting the nails in himself and the other world eaters was his idea. No want from Kharn for butcher nails, no butchers nails innovation to create their own for space marines, thus no nailed space marines.
@petrrozsival8554Ай бұрын
Angron would kill him and push the nails in anyway
@ЯрОк-и2йАй бұрын
@@petrrozsival8554 Eeeeeeeee... The guy was already knocked out by his son's during the said rebellion without Kharn backing them up, so I'm pretty sure they'll be able to do the exact same thing they already did with the help of the strongest space marine world eater by their side.
@Firas-xiiАй бұрын
Angron was hoping that all world eaters reject the nail but they were scared to say no
@midwesternmoron9444Ай бұрын
@@Firas-xii they did so to try to become closer to their primarch/father and it was a horrible idea as Angron never wanted them to begin with.
