I have seen literally nothing on social media outside of their Twitter page. I saw it in my YT feed a couple weeks ago and immediately fell in love with Barnaby's design. I didn't realize until a week later that it was Black Gryphon, then realized more and more of the names. I looked up Ashley to see if she was involved because Billie's design reminded me of her character. Now I'm VERY enthralled by the project.

Making the music so dynamic is a must. It was one of the most memorable things I recall from Streets of Rage 4 and Mario Wonder. Something so musically focused will benefit a lot from that. Good points here!

Ya hit the nail on THE HEAD. I honestly feel lately that a game is more alive when it nails the sound design. I'm ok even if a game opts to use low poly graphics! If the sounds aren't hitting a certain sweet spot though -- it just doesn't do it for me. I'm super excited to see how they keep ramping up this concept and if other devs get inspired to do the same.

Benedict thanks so much for the compliment! I use Adobe Premiere Pro mainly because my day job involves sharing video project files with clients and the industry standard is Adobe. There are additional programs that come just AS CLOSE to this quality. Davinci Resolve is a freeware that has my approval. Heck most of the stock media websites even have a category for it now!

I adore looking behind the scenes at these kind of games so I don’t pressure myself too much about timing! I had some fulfilling past experiences working at studios of various sizes - so doing it in a fun and relaxed way with no pressure feels nice 💗

@purrsianplays yeah same! I even got some early teasers of some additional stuff from the devs for the songs. Things like walking of walls instead of the camera flipping, or there being a lot more environmental elements to the Fantocio fight, like having a lion and a bear.

Woah! Would have been a hoot to see an actual lion and bear 🤭. Loved learning these details from you. Very eager to see how it all keeps evolving. I notice they’re upping their game with the character puppets and their expressiveness. Barnaby got a glowup in the last video upload for sure!

@purrsianplays oh yeah, I remember asking on their discord and they sent me a whole voice note of stuff they said they were adding. Unfortunately I can't find that message on Discord history
