It's too bad that you missed the joke with the door. If you get caught over and over, they go to more and more drastic measure to lock the door, like naling it shut, covering it with giant chains, and finally replacing the entire door with some sort of armored vault door. :)

Random, but i somehow realized this the other day. In the Periodic Table, rows 3 and group 14, 15, and 16 are elements Silicon, Phosphorus, and Sulfur. It literally spells "Si-P-S" straight across!

The reason Purple Tentacle replaced Sam & Max as cameo as an idol is that Steve Purcell left LucasArts after Sam & Max Freelance Police got canceled in 2004 and formed TellTale Games with several other former LucasArts employees which then did the new Sam & Max series (as well as working at Pixar as a designer and did co-direct Brave) and therefore LA didn't have the rights to keep Sam & Max for the Special Edition (but was kept in the classic version). Same thing happened with Sam & Max costume in MI2 too.

got angry cuz you forgot you could double click on locations/edge of map to have it move fast. also you should of stopped at the first beach, ran to monkey, lead to monkey head, then go back to beach for boat, otherwise you got a longer walk.

Look at how the overworld map looks. No, really, look in detail at the palm trees and stuff. The devs literally took a photoshop brush in the shape of a palm and just drew all over. lol xD That's like, unbelievably simple amateur stuff. But hell, sure enough it still looks nice at a distance before you pay any attention to the details, sure. But it's just kinda funny when a fully fledged classic game remake comes out and a major part of its art assets is like, something any photoshop noob could throw together in a few minutes. The terrain is nicely painted, but those fuckin identical repeating palm brush stamps, man... Someone took the nice landscape painting and just shat all over it with their photoshop custom brush tool. They could at least have clicked the option to apply random rotation to them when painting, for gods sake.
