+Shelley Hampton I had to wait a day and just re-watched a part of the end and he comes freaking close a few times but it almost seems like the is deliberately stretching it. I mean, the ghost has a freaking bottle of grog in his hand already how obvious do you want it! He tried everything else already, if I'm wrong about this the game is hard to the point of tediousness.

Sips have you played the Tell Tale Monkey Island game? I really liked it, it is easier because it has hints unlike the old once but hey there are guides for everything these days so why not have the hints in game, but the story is really nice and it is quite funny as well.
