I think it IS a prequel in terms of bringing a new and old audience BACK to Modern Warfare (the single BEST COD franchise) while resurrecting previously dead characters and changing their backstories to better fit a more “methodically” told story. That being said, the original MW story was perfectly fine, this one seems like it has more of “long game plan” approach to it. And at the same time it’s a prequel for a new series of games.

Just a minor correction. Verdansk isn’t in russia, is the capital of Kastovia a bordering country under russian military rule, but not officially part of russia. That’s why there is military russian personnel and military posts in a capital instead of police. Also, regarding your confusion about Viktor. Viktor is operating in Urzikstan. Verdansk is not Urzikstan that’s why there’s his father.

Its broken for me, removes munitions usage every game and often removes equipment usage. Enemies spawning literally no more than inches from me, close enough for me to blow on. On top of playing with literal idiots who do absolutely nothing. I cant stand it anymore personally.

Communication, repetition/learning where to go in each mission, a decent team, and (for most missions) having one person in an area where enemies can't kill him (e.g. in the spawn warehouse of the second mission, the top of the stadium in the first mission) make it a lot easier--as you can just wait for teammates to respawn. Also you have to be constantly looking for munitions/kill streaks, as some missions are nearly impossible without them.

What’s hard to understand, one Zakhaev is the dad and who’s a weapons dealer for Al- Asad the other Zakhaev is the son and wants to basically control Russia. Spec ops is about the Dad and Al- Asad probably because we’ve seen them before and the son who we really didn’t get to experience gets his own game in the sequel

Idk about everyone else but this is the most excited I've been for upcoming COD games in a longggg time. I missed how back in the day the games focused heavily on making a great story campaign. In recent installments, COD's campaigns have been really bad, but Modern Warfare 2019 was surprisingly good. It was a little short, but other than that I really enjoyed it, and the post credit scenes we get gives me the chills, similar to watching an MCU movie, the post credit scenes got me hyped for the next Modern Warfare installment.

Spec ops is an underrated game mode and it’s kinda sad cause the only reason why people think they hate it is how it’s difficult and it plays the same . They fixed all the issues and they make an award system that you can unlock gun variants and I think it’s a good improvement and makes the gamemode taken more serious and teamwork, cross wind is the most badass mission cuz they wanted to try something new and they did a hella of a job for it, I gave a lot of ideas for new operation missions but sadly I don’t work at infinity ward, but infinity ward did a good job and tried something new and I like it
