A great way to catch bass on sand fleas is to get a small bucktail and drag it on the bottom and stop and start. But keep it on the bottom dragging in to store. I know it sounds crazy but I’ve caught many this way and my personal best this way. I normally do this when they are being picky. Because kicking up the sand helps they think it’s a stand flea or crab. This works great in clear water

I'm impressed you have so much energy to keep fishing and pumping out all these videos. I sometimes make private videos for fun, but I only do it a few times a year haha. Great vid. I observed lots of cool sand flea wash action last summer. Rays cruising up onto the beach and schoolie bass patrolling, I even saw either a thresher or marlin farther out in the surf- it was badass. I’m def adding this rig and sand flea approach to my quiver this year. Thanks!

Sleeping in the car eating ice cream..and fishing. A trifecta of wonderfulness. I remember sleeping in my car by the old brigantine bridge fishing pier back in the day when you could drive your car back there. Dodging mosquitos and greenheads. Sand fleas great bait for pompano in the Outer Banks. Great vid brother.

I found out, you can use a dropshot to catch stripers. If you use a drop shot rig use like a 4/0 to 5/0 circle hook. Then use at least 15 to 17 lb monofilament line. I had a striper bite. Sadly line was to light was on 8lb line. I was going for large mouth but a descent striper hit. I threw my line near brush boardering a pocket near the shore line. The pocket extendended 12 plus feet out from the shore line. I changed my dropshot to 15lb line. Next time a striper hits ill be ready. I used a mullet colored 5 inch fluke and used trophy bass attractant the striper crushed it. The water was stained, but with quality waterbased attractant the striper smelled lure and bit lure. Fought like crazy but broke off because of light line 😢😮

I dont see a reason for such a heavy weight? No waves and doesn’t appear to be much current. Looks like a 3/8 oz weight would work fine Edit: 2/0 circle hook sounds huge. Probably only need a number 2 circle hook. You always run circle hooks smaller than a regular j hook.we use #2 thin wire circle hooks for catching 30-40 lbs class yft
