Cant thank you enough for posting this. No one ever showed me and now I’m 20 and finally got my G2, but I was too embarrassed to ask anyone cause I know they’d be cruel to me for not yet knowing how to do it, rather than being supportive and showing me

Smart Drive Test I can’t go on a solo trip yet because my appointment for the Secretary of State is in about a week so I don’t have my license yet. I’m thinking about driving through my town a bit and then once I’m used to driving alone I’ll probably go on the highway. Thanks again for all of your videos they really help on the driving test!

So, when you said driver's test - did you mean your learner's permit? Cheers Rick
@youssefalankouni86334 жыл бұрын
Hi Smart Drive Test. I took the test to get my actual license. However I need to go to the Secretary of State in order to acquire a physical license. I already have my permit and I got the certificate that says I passed my road test. I just need to go to the Secretary of State and show them the certificate along with some sort of proof of identification. They will then give me a slip that allows me to drive on my own until they send me my driver’s license with my picture on it in the mail.

Good tip Rick and in some places like New Jersey and Oregon gasoline is full service which means you have to ask an attendant to fill your gasoline powered car. For both States if you own a diesel-powered vehicle pickup trucks or cars it's self service which means you have to pump it by yourself
@smartdrivetest4 жыл бұрын
Hey Epic- are all the gas stations full service. We have the odd one here, but you have to pay a bit more for full service. Most of the pumps, both in the US and in Canada and other places in my experience--have been self-service. And for those of you that might be looking for diesel fuel, the pump handle is YELLOW. Cheers Rick

Hi bocas grandes - Thank you for your comment. Don't believe everything you hear my friend. Simply get a receipt, and you'll know that you're good. Also, before sticking your card into the machine, hit cancel twice. Finally, the credit card company has a vested interest in you not getting ripped off. If something happens, the credit card company--in most instances--will cover you. Insurance on your card against fraud comes with the credit card. All the best, Cheers Rick
@pennymichalski90443 жыл бұрын
1.) If you asked for a certain dollar amount and the tank took less money to fill, what then? 2.) The important part is the actual pump handle. The fear is that it won't stop dispensing fuel. Do you just squeeze it and it will click off when full? All these videos have different looking mechanisms in the handle to just set and go. Get a close up on this.
@smartdrivetest3 жыл бұрын
Hi Penny Michalski - Almost always, the handle will click off when the tank is full my friend. All the handles are more or less the same. The only thing that's different is the lock mechanism. On a lot of self-serve pumps it's missing so you have to stay with the pump and hold it. If you pay a certain dollar amount and you pump less, it will either be returned to your credit card, or to you in cash from the cashier. Drop us a note if we can help further my friend. All the best, Cheers Rick
