While I appreciate the information being shared, I am truly annoyed at how much work and tricks and “secrets” are necessary to engage on an app which is supposed to be about fun and socializing. It’s truly mentally exhausting. I just want to be authentic and engage organically w/o the BS Instagram puts ppl through. I want a SM platform that doesn’t require me to watch weekly YT vids to exist on it.

Can you teach us how to fill and file our taxes now that we are content creators/ freelancers who are able to monetize and make money? According to my research, the process appears to be far more complicated than filing a standard w2 at the end of the year. Can you do a video on how to file taxes and when to for Self-Employment: What Freelancers need to Know the processes and stuff as a content creator/ KZbinr? For example, can you do a breakdown or spreadsheet with us on what gets calculated together or separately (ad views, KZbin Premium, Super Chat, Super Stickers, Channel Memberships, brand deals, sponsorships, or when a company sends you free stuff or things to try out and gifts)? Dates to file ahead and to pay on time. I've binged and watched a lot of videos on these topics lately but the more I watch the more questions I have. I've been subscribed and watching your videos from the start of your KZbin career because you're inspiring and your videos are always easy to follow along to. I am at a point where I want to do freelancing but don't want to mess up on taxes so hopefully, you will do a video on this process.

Have you spoken to an accountant?
@kat74809
@kat74809 2 жыл бұрын
@@VanessaLau No, I just thought maybe you can make an updated tax video on the business aspect of life as a content creator/KZbinr/freelancer since you've gained so much knowledge on this since your last upload on taxes over 2 years ago using Bench Accounting with Sebastian. An accountant is expensive especially if I'm just starting out so do you have any advice on how to find a good CPA Accountant or CPA Tax Advisor? I'm still trying to figure out the difference between both and which is better to use and spend money on.

I started trying to grow my reach about a month ago and while I definitely have been growing, the catchy reels were getting the most views so I tried to double down on those and started losing followers because I was just trying to follow a trend and not offer content. So now I’ve backed off with being determined to post some thing every day if it’s not good. And honestly some of those days that I skip posting my followers grow even more…

Loved the video and took some notes as well which I think would help others, so here they are!- -keep the design clean -appeal to the wider audience to increase shareability -set up manychat (dms/comment section) (when you start getting more dms) -Reel/Post framework to increase shareability- Hook Micro-lessons Key takeaway (punchline) Clear call-to-action -monthly review of analytics (what's working? What's not working? Double down on what is working.) -leverage the collaboration feature -follow and engage with other similar accounts -create content that resonates -check what the viewers of your competitors are saying, like the unanswered question on their posts, and make content around those topics -ask your audience what they want directly via Instagram stories -once or twice a year, do a big market research survey to collect information (google forms) (more information about themselves and what they would like to see, what platforms they like to hang out in, what social media accounts they follow, feedback on how they would like to see my account change & improve); gives a lot of insight on your current audience and the gaps in the current content strategy -your content must answer these 2 questions: i. “Whats in it for me?” ii. “So what?” It is imperitent to give some value to the audience who pay you with their time. Whats the main take away from the content? -package your content in a way that is digestible to your audience. Have a good quality -ask a third party for opinion before posted, someone who’s view you respect and trust -do lives and speak on stories to deepen the connection with your community- increases loyalty -increase the variety of your content, dont make just one type of content so as to make sure yu dont eclude certain groups of people -stay up to date on how the ig algorithm works, some bullet points are Instagram values recency Instagram values relationships (increase interactions- like poll stickers or question stickers or even dms, add call-to-actions) Instagram values intestest (so, make sure you categorize your content properly, so that its easier to push your content and account to the right people. Put the keywords in your caption and write alt text in each post. Have a consistent theme in your content.) Instagram values videos Hope this helps

QUESTION: I am just starting my YT channel and working out my "niche" based on my target audience (which is basically me). Right now I have Instagram and FB accounts for each part of my life. A business account and a personal account. I feel that they should really be the same accounts. How do I morph them? Or do I? Do you still keep personal accounts for friends and family? Or do you just have business accounts now? I've really been struggling to try to figure this out. And, thank you so much for your videos. This is the most YT help I've found from anyone! Amazing content!! : )

I had the same question. What I did was made a Facebook page for my business and made it link to my Instagram. So I still have my personal Facebook. But I made my Instagram more focused for my biz, but since I make all the cards and paper stuff showing my face on Instagram makes sense. I show my space, my supplies etc. Especially in stories and stuff. It seems to be working. And I have less accounts to post to lol

The problem is that the same "viral" concepts over and over get repetitive. But today every business wants to go viral, and every low quality phone-filming dude and their mom want to be a business, when they're really just wannabe influencers with no interesting story to tell and no captivating visuals to support it. Instagram has gone up another quality level and we need to adapt or we'll stay behind. It has always been that way and the only thing that's frustrating is how so much low-level user content is clogging up the internet, just to perish within a few days. How morbid. There should be a limit to how long all this stuff is burried online. It's just burning trees, not providing value, not creating happiness. I've stopped theorizing over my target audience and strategies. Epic experiences and beautiful moments aren't a strategy, maybe their documentation can be, sure. But I just want to create. That's how Instagram started anyways. Video making, okay, but meaningless, pointless content just for the purpose of consistency and offering something, no.

After 12am the views go up (I grew 166 views to 3k) but the bonus reels cut the benefits at 166 views when the time for the new month begins. I could get the bonus for that reel? Love your free content sharing strategies but I think the intro hook saying strategy is not the problem the content being good is wrong. Isn't the problem more commonly the strategy? Content being not good was just 1 reason of many! I find if you are following all the strategies and it’s still not working, it’s likely the content that’s not landing. Doesn’t matter if you use hashtags, ig reels, etc

To be honest, it seems like most of the people who get a lot of growth say they noticed gaining more followers when they started posting more, not that they changed anything about the actual content.

Why you are not getting views on Instagram? Your content is simply not good. It might happen, when you did not spend enough time to understand who is the audience, you are trying to reach. Utilize IG story features for content ideas and solutions.

The situation I'm in is that my content is very successful on TikTok -- like my first video I posted there got 80K views, but the same video crossposted on IG is getting like 100 views. I've tried to create unique but similar content on IG and I'm getting the same result. So I know its not the content because I have proof of success with it. I'm losing my mind.
