How to size your jump rope? There is a common misconception that the best way to size your rope is to stand in the middle of it, pull the handles up and make sure they reach to your armpits for the appropriate jump rope length. While a method like this can provide a good place to start, it is too general to guarantee a perfect fit. This method does not account for the variance in the length of people’s torsos, arms and legs and will ultimately leave you with a less than optimum length.
Instead, we recommend you size your rope according to the amount of clearance over your head based on the type of jumping you plan to be doing. Whether your crushing double unders, picking up a rope for the first time or breaking out your bag of tricks, this guide has got you covered!
