I've been going through something similar about being manipulated by a friend of mine, recently left him behind, he wasn't even a good friend and not supportive at all, using many ways of gas-lighting on me, he was never nice and just a toxic guy, I have blocked him *many* times. And yet I return to him for some strange reason, but this is hopefully the last time I block him, and I hope to never see him, and just get him out of my head, for good. Great video

Heck, even the abusers don’t realize they’re abusive, they think it’s normal most times, and it’s more dangerous because of that I’d know this cause I’ve been on the bad side before, I held a friend back immensely, and I still wish I could give them the apology they deserve

I experienced this with a friend I had they used anything wrong I did against me and it kinda made me uncomfortable and more suicidal until recently I Was able to cut contract with them with someone I meet on a server and that person made me realize what he was doing to me and they help me cut contract with them

honestly, i had MANY friends who manipulated me before, to the point where i have really bad trust issues, im scared of getting attached to someone, and to the point where i sometimes just want to become the manipulator myself. i won't do it of course, but i just want to be mean to everyone for no reason despite knowing it's not great and i don't want to make people feel what i felt my entire life. i think i really just need a way to feel better and run away from my problems. there's currently a friend i have that im really uncomfortable being with because they do nothing but manipulate me. i don't know how to leave them because im scared they're gonna guilt trip me in a specific way which is often used when you try to leave a manipulative friend, i don't know how to tell him that i don't like what he does. he guilt trips me and makes me look like the problem on every occasion. id suggest a part 2 digging deeper into more types of manipulation, mainly other unkown ones -- but id like to spread more awareness on guilt tripping :] also, i got gaslighted in a few ways before so thank you for talking about gaslighting!!! You're really good at making content man, you're gonna be great at this someday. :D

So this happened irl. I was drawing in class, my "Friend" walked up to me and said look at me art. I said "that looks great" I said it could use some more shading, he looks at me art and sees one little line I miss placed. and starts talking sheet about it. I didn't mind that much.. ( I'm a nice person, so I try my best to stop the drama) But he uses my kindness as a way to get under my skin. after a little bit of back and forth, he says "I will kill you and then stab you" that got Me really mad. So I gave him the the best roast I had, and absolutely destroyed that guy. Just don't mess with the nice kid.

Used to suffer from this for 7 years, only in late 2023 me and my other friend being tricked opened our eyes and confronted them, the person controlling us started to say its not their fault and we are overracting Well 7 fucking years of constant demand, lies and control is horrible for your sanity

I often see manipulation happen digitally, in a sort of "Puppet" state, especially on Multiplayer Game Platforms. From time-to-time, I intentionally go into these trick tactics to simply see where they would lead. Long story short, they try deceive you and then control what you do. The best part to note down is that you don't need to stay there. You can do your own things effectively without their often less usefull... "Leadership"

I'm sorry about that. The best thing I would suggest is to try talking to the staff members about it (or if needed, the authorities). Nine time out of ten, they'd be willing to help you in some way or another.

I've never been manipulated ever, but I do notice from this that I MIGHT have some abilities to manipulate others as well. That, combined with my nice personality, which makes me rather trustworthy, can be really deadly at the wrong circumstances. I am usually well intentioned, so hopefully I can rather control the possible manipulative side of me, or maybe this just makes my possible manipulative side much better (or worse since, well, it's just getting better at manipulation). Regardless, I do seek to help people out as well, seeing as I've noticed people online who were also manipulated or mentally tormented by their "friends" Anyways, DONACD-
