This video made me buy the Ninja Creami and I just made my first pint. Bro wtf that shit is too good!!! I didn’t have all the same ingredients so I just made my own Chocolate Cookies and Cream recipe and it came out really tasty and since it was all low calorie/high protein ingredients I didn’t feel any sort of guiltyness devouring almost the whole thing (shared some with my brother and he is now on board too 😂). I will be using your exact recipe as soon as I can get the exact ingredients/appliances (have the immersion blender coming in tomorrow too) but I can ALREADY tell the creami was money well spent. I have lost 50+ lbs since April 2022 with a mixture of eating healthier, weightlifting and Intermittent fasting but I had been taking it a lil easier during the summer even only working out 1-2 times a week but I planned to get back on the gym grind heavy when it started getting colder so this is really gonna hit the spot as my replacement for a post workout protein shake. One of the main reasons I chose to lose weight was because I had put on so much weight during the pandemic from eating so much Häagen-Dazs Ice cream almost every night (majority of that being Cookies and Cream flavored😂), well that among other things. Anyway sorry for the wall of text but thanks for putting me on and I’ll be catching up on your older vids and keeping up with new videos from now on. You got some super dope content tho keep it up 👍.

I finally got my hands on samples for the pe science proteins and I was extremely skeptical of buying a big jar of protein powder to try another protein brand. I have tried so many bad tasting proteins and the only ones I did like came from Greg and a brand on Amazon however cooking with them gave me mixed results and that is how I consume most of my protein. I tried the samples of the cookie and cream with lactaid milk last night and i honest to god fell in love it wasn't even mixed properly it tasted so good that I'm switching completely to pe science and i can't wait to make ice cream with it

Just made this. For an Oreo protein ice cream 10/10. I wasn’t LOVING the Oreo protein powder flavor- something about it was super artificial, but the consistency by following the 8 steps to a T? PERFECTION!! For some reason I calculate 39g protein and not 49 per pint but whatever. It’s still awesome to never have to buy halo top again 😝

Bought the Cremi Deluxe yesterday and this was the first recipe I tried, still have to wait another 12h for it to freeze. But I think I did something wrong, I don't have an immersion blender so I used a Vitamix instead to mix the ingredients, but it doubled in volume, from the video it yours doesn't seem to increase in volume.

If it were better, I totally would. A pint is a perfect size imo and am satisfied after it, but if there were something like better settings so mix ins dont get crushed into oblivion, I 100% would. Im hoping with the cream off season (winter) they come out with an updated version that has better mix in settings and I will cop instantly.

Usually over the years u fill your house with a bunch of useless appliances that take up alot of space that u need get rid of. That happens a lot with clothes. I've taken a minimal approach and only buy the bare minimum. Like instead of buying low quality clothes I buy a couple expensive jacket pants. They last longer and are about the same price since u usually have buy 3 or 4 of cheaper ones.

I think a MUCH better substitute would be non fat dry milk powder as that is what most commercial light ice cream brands use, and it will make it creamer

Does adding black cocoa powder to the base really do much? Personally I don’t taste much difference, and it makes the resulting cream an unappealing gray color, in contrast to real cookies and cream, which has a white cream base.

Hey Tony! I literally did a blind taste test that is in the video. According to my taste buds, it absolutely does. If the color is too off putting to you though, feel free to nix it. In the kitchen, there are no rules. Personally, the color doesn't bother me in the slightest.

So I've been using (and LOVING) Nick's Creami recipes since the dawn of time (okay...earlier this year), along with the rest of the cookbook. Come to find out that erythritol causes me to have massive coughing fits and feel like shit for well over an hour, so basically I have some sort of allergy to it...or something. I stopped eating the ice cream after I found out I had this reaction- has anyone tried subbing monk fruit in? I'm probably going to try that, as it's the only decent alternative I can think of. Not a fan of sucralose due to health implications (They might be complete BS, but they might not be. I'm not a freaking doctor, it's contraversial), and stevia tastes like pure garbage.

Have you tried Allulose? It’s the closest thing that tastes like sugar for me and has the same 1 to 1 weight/sweetness conversion to erythritol (so you should be able to use same amount of allulose as erythritol in this recipe). Also, there are studies that are showing that too much erythritol/swerve isn’t very healthy to the gut.

Thanks a ton for the tip!! I looked into allulose, and it looks super legit! I'm going to test that, and monkfruit out in the creami recipes.... I'lll update after.

@@brademerson8035 ya I did read that recent study regarding erythritol and link to stroke and heart attack, although it’s not proven, like you say. One thing to consider is that there was a previous study that showed excess glucose (ie., sugar) converts into erythritol. So those heart patients might’ve already been overweight and had a diet high in sugar, which may have caused those effects . But best not to risk overusing erythritol and maybe others can use it in moderation. But allulose is definitely getting more popular ; it’s what they use in Magic Spoon cereal.
