Thank you, bhante, for guiding us from baby steps to PhD insight and wisdom of the Dharma. It is good that we ask questions of ourselves while experience the Dharma. For example, I asked myself why is there craving, why am I craving? I'm craving because there is a dormant or subconscious karmic inspired craving to fulfill a body/mind self-identification. Why is there this dormant karmic inspired craving to fulfill a self-identification? Because I am ignorant and have a wrong understanding of life and reality. The Buddha Dharma opens and reveals the subconscious and the underlying root cause of our confused thoughts and suffering--a false and erroneous self view and our misperception to assume a self and seek out trying to fulfill a self notion--the drive for desire and existence driven by the ignorance and misunderstanding of a corrupt self view. Nirvana as cessation, the craved after urgency to fulfill a self-identity quenched and the conceit 'I am' flame extinguished. Birth aging and death self-promoted ended. Abandoning the underlying tendency for desire, abolishing the underlying tendency for aversion, uprooting the underlying tendency for the self conceit 'I am,' realizing true knowledge and wisdom Ending suffering. How deep and vast is the Buddha's understanding. 🙏🙏🙏
