It’s weird that they would want their name associated with crap. I worked at Sephora headquarters in San Francisco (before they moved to Texas) as a beauty advisor, and we got full sized samples every product that was being promoted. The Sephora brand stuff was almost always trash.

Usually tone up cream brightens the tone of the face creating a whitish cast on purpose. They are typically used in Asia where lighter skin tones are favored. (I believe, please correct me if I am wrong)

A tone up cream is supposed to brighten/lighten your skin, moisturize, and slightly even the skintone without actually providing coverage. I use them as primers. I also use them alone because it makes my skin look better. They're popular in Korea, Japan, China, etc. Especially, for schoolgirls because they're not allowed obvious makeup for school.

I bet because it always sunny over there, so you probably get a little darker every week. I'm Puerto Rican with a medium skin tone and strong olive undertones but I live in the Northeast of USA, and stay inside a lot. I use a foundation that's a little darker than me to even out with the toning cream. However, I've never taken pictures with it on 🙂 so thank you for the heads up.

@@crispy_touya No. Olive is the undertone which is green and yellow. Medium is the skin tone which is the shade you are on the spectrum of light to dark. When it comes to makeup you say what your skin tone is and then your undertones. Or it can be said I have medium olive skin, which implies your shade and undertone. 🙂 hope that helped.

Sephora really dropped the ball w/their lip liners. This could’ve bn a something really special amongst Sephora’s enormous unending lineup of crappy products. And w/all the beautiful shades that are offered, I have no doubts they would have bn loved by lip liner lovers - like myself. But no, they wrecked any potential by giving them a glossy finish. Who thought that was a good idea?? It’s a problem & it’s the one thing that places them in the same category as almost all of Sephora’s other mediocre/crap products. They smudge super easy, hv no longevity & over lining w/a SHINY liner doesn’t work - these really needed to be matte IMO.

Had Hypermesis with both of my pregnancies. My body was shutting down on my 2nd pregnancy. Lost 40 lbs with my first child during the first trimester, and lost over 50 lbs in the 2nd trimester with my second child. I threw up water and bile, couldn't even swallow my own spit.
