I was born in 1979, but: I believe you are correct. Also, I think a lot more kids left home while young at the time? To hitch around, or move to another state. And getting into a car with people to "party" was considered normal at the time. Different era. This is at least my understanding.

The dean’s list is actually really good achievement basically means they have a high grade point average close to 4.0 with letter grades it’s like all A’s.

Yep and you can get "with hono(u)rs" on your degree/diploma if you are constantly keep your grades high to be Dean's List from when you begin to when you graduate. In Canada, anyone with 80% and above is to be considered on the Dean's list

Imagine being the last one to see his friends and the thought that maybe he could of saved them somehow. @@Tremasis not so much to drink. This was the 80s. I was born in 75 and my mom never touched so much as caffeine. In the 80s, more women smoked, sure. But by then, we were becoming quite aware of the dangers of heavy drinking in pregnancy.

The case was infamous mainly due to threatening calls letters to family for years prior to the murder, evidence pointing to family involvement, and police mishandling and incompetence.

If I was the andy I would have done the same thing. Because non of them said “help” or relief that their friend was there and could let them out of the car. The Dean's List Award is for students who maintain a 4.0 GPA or perfect GPA throughout each semester in school. It is one of the highest awards you can get in college. Atleast that's how it was in my medical school for myself. I maintained Dean's List as well. It just shows he was very intelligent and worked his butt off at school.

I’ve been scrolling while listening, and I haven’t seen anyone mention the first woman mentioned (don’t remember names and it’s really late) and how she was such a powerhouse! I can’t comprehend how much she was able to do while balancing everything. This was in the 80’s. FAS wasn’t a widely known thing quite yet. There were rumors of the affect of alcohol on unborn fetuses but it wasn’t mainstream until the 90’s. Wild to think about but true.

@@Taewills Yeah my grandma had my mom in 1969 and she told me she often craved beer but she always forgot to buy it for herself at the store. I was like "uhh didn't you know alcohol was bad for the baby?" since you know that implies she would have drunk it if only she'd remembered to buy it lol And that's how I found out FAS hadn't been discovered yet back then
