@@JustWasted3HoursHere Well, then you should have seen better games e.g. Turrican, Katakis, Enforcer, Project Firestart, Rick Dangerous 2, Last Ninja 2, just to name a few and the latest upcoming "A Pig Quest" and "Puzztle Bobble"! Compared to these "... Hawksmill" seems rather mediocre (to me). Still I appreciate the efforts and the love that was put into this game!

Excellent story and I liked the stormy, gloomy atmosphere. The music was great too, though perhaps a bit too low. If there was one negative it would be the lack of real resource management; you can go nuts with your guns, never having to reload after so many shots, and ammo is abundant. The boss seemed super easy, too.

What impresses me most in this game is the atmospheric intro, the outro, the weather screens outside. The gameplay unfortunately looks too repetetive and a good soundtrack is also missing. Great player overlay sprite!

How do you see these keys and apples and such? I can't see a thing on your playthrough and when i play. How do you reach down to get things you don't know are there? I don't understand how you know there is something there!

I do have the same problem. In the beginning of the video when it says "found green key" I do not see anything, even when pausing the video. This is true also for the real game. If I go down at exactly the same spot as you are, there is no green key to be picked up 😞

How can the main character have such a high resolution? It looks like being rendered at a higher graphical resolution than the rest of the game and also way to detailed for being a C64 sprite. Just compare that to the clunky shotgun in his hand when he's firing. Is this some kind of trickery or how did they do that?

By using more Sprites ( Each High Res Single Colour ) - or using more Sprites (One Sprite Low Res Multicolour, one Sprite black High Res to outline over the multicolour ) - ( btw. Some Programmers are able to use more than 8 Sprites with specific rules) - the background gfx in this game uses mulicolour, so they are Low Res
