I had thought of making something to dunk it in. I had also deboned some pre cooking. But it takes ages. Then thought, I’ll just pop them out post cook.

Thanks chubblerss. Yeah there isn’t a lot of food stuff that gets me frustrated. To each their own. Although over complicating buffalo wings is one. They are so dope done the real way. Not broke, don’t fix.

That sandwich is such a chopped cheese kind of ugly beautiful masterpiece. Like you'd order it as some sort of personal dare after seeing the picture on the Hooters menu and walk out as one of those people that unironically say you go there for the food.

It really was. Was pleasantly surprised at how well opening up the grilled cheese worked. Cheese coming from top and bottom. Happy accidents make good sandwiches

Where did you find the American cheese? real hard to find here in Aus unless you order a commercial amount. Love your vids man keep up the good work!

Hey BenKizzee, I've been told that: "American here. The Kraft singles I can get here (Australia) are American cheese..." So any of the single style "cheeses" that have their own individual plastic. When I want the orange colour I will usually use the Woolies "Smokey Cheese Slices". Essentially avoiding anything that says Tasty or Cheddar, stick with ambiguous cheese.

I was talking with a couple guys on a forum who worked at pimento bros. I asked about this as I’d seen them included in other recipes. They said they weren’t in there in the few years they worked there. As the original pimento bro ethos was to make the sandwiches as cheap as possible for truckers. That being said, I didn’t ask when they worked there. I’ll add them next time and see how it goes.

I'm mostly libertarian, so this might sound weird, but most people eating this should not be covered by the insurance I'm forced to pay for. before you lose your mind, 'most' is the key word. If your BMI is less than 25 and this is just an infrequent indulgence, then rock on!
