there are guitars and then there are "those" guitars. she's definitely one of "those" guitars! not only exquisite to look at; but a fitting tribute to your four legged friend. a real beauty patrick!

Someone probably mentioned it already, but one way to seal off the pot/switch/post holes is to use foam earplugs; they swell to shape, are reusable, and very inexpensive. I've enjoyed every moment of this build and learned quite a lot. Thank you!

Very nice work! Back before I had access to a polisher I used to take the wet sanding up to 5000 grit and polish by hand, it would take weeks. As far as a sticky neck, a good remedy is a couple of coats of meguiars carnauba wax and a polish.
@Adventuresfromtheshedofdreams2 жыл бұрын
Cheers, thankfully that polisher has been with me a very long time, hand polishing is a long old job! I'll check the carnauba wax out :)

Have you ever sanded it polished through the clear. If so what was your solution...
@Adventuresfromtheshedofdreams2 жыл бұрын
I have burned through before, it is usually only a small area so they can usually be touched in with an airbrush quite easily. I always make sure I have some spare finish just in case.

Awesome ! What pad do you use ? I Guess a ultra soft pad ?
@Adventuresfromtheshedofdreams2 жыл бұрын
Thanks buddy, it's actually a standard firm pad but it is always used wet which makes it much softer.
