i have a one sovereign and half sovereign with the shield. I have all the early Vickies George and Edward. it took me 15 years to get the pair of shields. and the half is more brilliant than the whole.

Great looking coin! Last year I bought my first English gold coin, a shieldback sovereign from Numistacker and I like it a lot. Glad you showed this one. For next week I'd like to see the gold liberty head.
