Base on the importance of the story She was the one who was driven and become overwhelmed, Her husband was too much of a follower.yet some people donot allowed the woman with the ideas or strength to lead The husband appeared to be supportive, but that wasnot enough for her. Her husband just sat home is the impression but then she mentioned his dream of construction obviously thaf wasnot enough. Complex story of people having too different visions of the future or family.

Wrong her husband was not supportive. Dela mentioned, there were people wanting help with construction works.Her husband did not want to work.He had plenty of opportunity to support his family. But he chose not too.And to leave it all down to his wife.How can that be right.He had responsibilities. @mavisburke495.
@evertonporter78874 ай бұрын
@@mavisburke495 This is exactly what happens when men refuse to fulfil their God given duties and responsibilities as the head of the household. The husband was all talk, he wasn't willing to put in the work and do the heavy lifting to make his dream come true. His now ex-wife had to step in and take on the role of the head, a role that was not meant for her and she found herself overwhelmed and out of her depth.
@mavisburke4954 ай бұрын
@@evertonporter7887 My view is different, her husband said he was tired of working for years which meant he once financially headed his family. Possibly later he thought his wife was suited best for You Tube and it brought an income. She taught he was missing the opportunity to be a consultant or help in the construction for viewers ,who were his wife fans who constantly were asking questions because he was previously in construction. Eventually it appeared her husband wanted to focus on his own business in construction which wasnot fast or possibly profitable enough for her. At least, the husband didnot join You tube and competited with her for viewers. My point they had different goals, possible ideas of how to achieve financial mobility, not everyone have the same skill sets.Remember Dela said she never wanted to be a regular worker , maybe her husband was different.

The harsh judgement and insensitive comments (mostly from men) are a real eye opener! Dela, inasmuch as I understand you're giving these interviews to help other women in similar situations - and that's a very honourable thing to do - I think you need to rethink this. Now people are talking like you owe them an explanation for the decisions you made for your life and your kids' life, or you have to convince them of your innocence or Kwame's guilt. You don't owe anyone Jack. The life you have is yours and you don't have to explain your decisions or get validation for your decisions from anyone... especially not some strangers on the internet. You wore the shoe, and only you knew where and how it pinched. I said a prayer for while watching this cos I sincerely wish you success on this journey and I know how mean and outright evil some Ghanaians can be when a woman tries to assert herself and not accept whatever toxicity our patriarchal culture throws at her. Godspeed!

I hear women complain about how unfair the patriarchal system is, but I observe how disrespectful and inconsiderate women are towards their children and husbands in the West. The West is a perfect example of why women should not be given rights earned by men. What has resulted in the West due to poor decisions by women is most families broken up. Women generally are all about their feelings not the millions of babies they murder each year nor their families in the West. I have state facts not my opinions just research these facts

It’s extremely hard for them to go back and explain themselves. Normally the spouse goes around, telling lies as well, and the women have to come behind that and defend themselves and I have seen it become extremely tiring. Sometimes the best thing women can do is to put it behind and not try to go justify themselves to everybody. Guys never go and rescue any gal u know. I am not doubting her stories but I saw their initial videos of the ex working soo hard to build for her and the family. I truly hope someone finds the guy and let him also say his story. No man is perfect and remember he also has his own demons he is dealing with now this. Damn.

She was more driven economically than her husband. He saw her ability and foolishly said" I was one who did everything now I am tired" after awhile they both thought each was doing too much in the relationship.

We have to go back to the African traditional ways where a woman before getting married needs approval of the family before getting married. The poor relationship with her father and the missing link needs to be explored.
@drtonyfearon73184 ай бұрын
Her relationship with her father will determine the relationship with men . Her lack of a male role model like her father has effected her current relationship. A male figure in a girls life is the foundation for any man she chooses. A woman without a father figure in her life will always effect her future relationship because she has nothing to compare them too .

Most African women do not agree to move back to Africa with their husbands after tasting life abroad for several years. They don’t care abandoning their husbands at the stage that their husbands need them most in their advanced age. There are many men living in Africa alone now after sending their wives abroad. The woman will simply not come back with you.

The men who don't help you while you are abroad? I see so many women single in marriage. I am horrified by what I see here. If that is marriage I recommend women remain single.

Every union goes through difficult times-most just weather the storm and no one ever stays in the tunnel forever - eventually you see light- if it didn't work out - you are the mother or father of my kids- one way or the other we have to work together- for the sake of the kids i should not put you out in a negative way-no human is endowed with perfection

Live your life for you is a selfish statement to make. We need eachother even though sometimes some people might think you are stupid, continue to share your blessings and yourself with others. Give and it shall be given unto you
