1:05 Lightning Scourge should be in S tier, both the elemental and downed bonus provide a massive boost in damage on a stationary (downed) aragami, especially if you have a spot with a broken bond, additionally with the advanced jump and a little practice to get the timing down you can perform it about twice as fast as shown in the video maning it one of the best damage option for the short blade. 3:27 failed to mention Dead End has partial armour piercing making it good vs armoured aragami. 3:38 Schwalbe tho not having any bonuses, it does have a significant forward momentum, while the other rising edge burst arts are purely vertical, making it a great opening for a hit and run play style. - sincerely, short blade main

A straight-to-the-point no bullshit tier list? This was fun to watch. Even though I don't use the short blade, I like hearing people's opinions on weapons in this game.

I'd put Rampaging Comet to S Tier and everything else to B Tier

I'm pretty confident that Licht should go into S. The important thing about using it is how it interacts with your airdash, though it's pretty technical. Try swinging twice, rotating 90 degrees on the third swing so you backdash to the side, then dash to another point on the aragami and attack again. Once you get a feel for using it as a second airdash that resets your first, you can fly around Aragami. Also, Sylpheed can also be wielded better through using its reset of your airdash in order to control positioning. Though it is EXTREMELY technical due to needing to learn which aragami parts can be used to gain, lose or maintain altitude on each aragami. After enough practice with it on Amun Ra, I was able to chain aerials into it borderline endlessly, but that took a LOT of runs.

Was about to mention that about Licht Kreuz. It deals a massive amount of damage and keeps you out of harms way. You can just keep airdashing back to the Aragami if you think it’s safe or running out of stam. Also with the burst control unit air which gives you an additional amount of damage. I guess I just think that art works well with what the short blade has. Quick repositions, can use the special to get in the air without using stam. Slypheed yeah, needs a lot of practice. And you have to hit the right parts. Also need to have stamina skills in your god arc. Works well with that skill where if you have only 25% stam will deal more damage. Anyways, in general I think the strength of short blade is having the ability to stay in the air almost indefinitely. Making you able to dodge a lot of the attacks that you’d normally be worried about.

I feel like the way you present Rampaging Comet makes it seem like you have to do the full jump to activate it, but you really don't, and it helps the BA's DPS a lot when you activate it despite jumping less than half your player model's height.

Rampaging Comet is S+ bro. It's by far the strongest Short Blade burst art and damn near validates the entire weapon in the meta pool. It has hyper armor, it has armor pierce and it does thousands and thousands of damage to enemy weakpoints. With my 700 attack rating weapon I've seen it hit for 9600 in a single attack. It is effortlessly activated off of rising edges, dives or raw jumps. Scorpion is awful. Gale Dance is boring but strong and easy. Dead End --> Rampaging Comet is just such a smooth transition with huge damage potential. Although, sadly, just spamming Rampaging Comet is the best DPS overall. Not hating on the video. You said it's just your opinions.

I've been searching for recent new about people playing GE3, most posted about it were like 2-3 years ago. I would like to know what weapons are currently the best.. Long Blade and Reaper?

Both are decent in 3. Long blade is easier to use in 3 imo.

Buster Blade, Half Moon and Biting Edge seem to hold the speed running records. Most people lean towards Biting Edge being the best all-around weapon with the caveats that you have grossly more stamina management, cannot easily devour in glaive form and cannot block in glaive form.

I love how you just can't pronounce German words 🤣. Licht Kreuz means Light Cross. The sound for Licht is a special ch sound non german People never hear, which is why they can't pronunce it. Kreuz is pronounced with the Eu sound that is actually different from the u sound you used. Basically, you say Kroiz. That's how Germans say it. Specht is a type of bird. It's the Woodpecker bird. The ch is pronounced the same way the ch in Licht is pronounced. You just probably never heard that sound. But the way you said Schwalbe was actually pretty spot on. Except that it's actually 2 syllables. Schwal-Be. Schwalbe is the German name for Swallow. I don't know jack shit about God Eater, but I think you're cool and I'm ready to teach you anything about the german language you want to know. But seriously, why do you play so many games with german in them 🤣? But I guess that's why I'm here. Have a nice day.

I don't know that's a good question lol. First Trails then God Eater. I guess Japanese devs have taken a liking to German names.
