Fun Fact: "The Other Maurice" Maurice Filion, would coach in the NHL when Quebec came over, and would only last 6 games before he too stepped down!

Yeah, that was a bright move on their part - pushing out a triple gold coach. Based on little boys' gossip - how pathetic could you possibly be? What a stupid petty henhouse of gossips. Hockey is a very demanding game mentally physically spiritually and otherwise. You want to play with babcock? You're going to leave it all out there on the ice. Otherwise, move along. There are far more players who would have given anything to play under Mike babcock, than the number of players who failed or whined. As far as I'm concerned, that jerk off bissonnet violated the locker room door. He went on a podcast of boy gossips to whine about someone of which he is immensely jealous. Some NHL wannabe, played 200 games of NHL ice with about 20-something points over the course of his career? Is going to tell us about Mike Babcock? And you're all stupid enough to go along? He's now a commentator for TNT - the authority on hockey 🙄 Babcock, who speaks French as his first language, comes from Canada and a very different culture where there are no privacy rights. As I've explained elsewhere, crossing into Canada, when border patrol demands your devices? you shut the hell up and give them your devices That's Canada - they have no privacy rights. Why don't you know that? So what type of porn do you think those hockey players were trying to hide? These are hockey players for God's sake - grow the hell up! What don't you study Canadian privacy rights and laws a little more closely before you think you know it all. The NHL and hockey came out of Canada not the usa. And I'm not seeing Canadian fans under these threads discussing this issue because chances are, they don't get these videos in canada. They're controlled media Just like all your cell phones and devices. Controlled media by the government. How stupid can we be? Spreading more American ignorance on the world wide web It never even dawned on you? Bison head is going to be lucky to be driving a Zamboni in another 10 years Columbus Blue jackets just had the top triple gold coach in their hands - and they blew it. They're going to suck for a long time. And deserve it.

Johan Franzen was great for the Red Wings. Babcock was taking out his ire on Franzen because MIke is a cock. I've heard other people that have had their careers ruined by that guy. Not only did he blithely destroy someone's career in hockey, he played games with the guy before he told him. I hope he never coaches again. He's got the money from the horrendous deal with Toronto, he should retire and take out his anger on his family like the rest of us. Scotty Bowman is the Yoda of hockey. Babcock is not worthy to wash Bowman's cup with his lips. I will miss Barry Mellrose, he provided excellent color commentary and he had a ton of passion for the sport.

Maurice Richard had a deep, DEEP fear of being forgotten, which almost sounds crazy given how he is still remembered fondly 25 years after passing away. The story goes that as he grew older, he would ask his wife to sing him this song that was made about him back in the days. He'd be doing commercials for just about anything just to remain in the public conscience: I do wonder how bittersweet he must have felt seeing the Habs be just as good if not better without him in the 70's. All of this context of course is just so you can watch on this site the absurdely long standing ovation he received when they closed down the Forum and cry even harder 🥹

I always forget the details of that, I just remember him being involved in an incident. Wasn't it trumped up BS? Hell now I gotta look it up. I wonder if anyone has ever written a book about all the bizarre and unusual and tragic scandals and things that have happened in the NHL. Better yet, make a movie in the style of The Wrestler. Maybe call it "The Enforcer." That kinda sounds like a Stallone movie from the 80s. And make sure to include a character based on Mike Danton.

@scrungus483 Жыл бұрын
Your point? People that are manipulative like he is will use your response to that “ask” to determine how he treats you, your playing time, your opportunities, etc.; it’s not a real question when someone like Babcock is behind it. It’s a demand.
@TheFoolintherainn Жыл бұрын
@@scrungus483Babcock is Canadian. Obviously fair weather fans have not traveled over the Canadian border lately not mind left their mama's basements Otherwise they would already know that there are no privacy rights in canada. when border patrol demands you turn over your devices to them, which you do - you're not allowed to complain. You smile nicely and turn all your devices over! That's what's required for me to go home to Alaska. The ignorance is overwhelming. I'm not seeing Canadians comment under these threads. Because they know already, they don't have privacy rights in canada. It's a socialist country that's s had big brother for decades now. The digital phone system is Big brother, they've had that since the 1970s Socialist governments are corporate owned, China devalued the Canadian dollar so they could buy up Canada. That's why the Canadian dollar has never bounced back. They run their media now, and there are even less privacy "rights" Original 6 hockey fans were simple Blue collar workers, but they weren't this stupid At least they played hockey and probably went to Canada at some point in their lives. They weren't sitting around playing fantasy hockey staring at videos on the internet thinking they know the privacy laws of Canada Trashing a triple gold coach based on boy-gossip 🙄 Seriously, what the hell happened to this game? Oh, clickbait media..... Someone needs to buy their Hot pockets by trashing a world renowned coach from another country, speaks another first language, and lives in a different culture Where there are no privacy rights. How ignorant can we be?
