Thanks really nice place and pleasant short flight. Did you take the tram to the airport?

What's about Tallinn and Riga? Is the distance longer than Tallinn and Helsinki? Tallinn airport is nice. I was two days ago there (but with SAS from DUS via CPH to TLL and back).

Service on board. 0,3 can of cola 3 euro... It will be 260 roubles, and 12 euro for a small champagne will be 1000 roubles... Cosmic prices, here in Moscow i can get a normal bottle of champagne at 250-300 roubles...

On board service comes with much higher operating costs compared to a regular shop and airlines use such sales as an important source of auxiliary revenue. Thanks for watching

EstSailor will you be on Finnair or SAS? I flew Finnair last year... no video as memory card failed just before boarding!

Thanks for the kind offer. As the recent weeks have been rather hectic, I have a bit of a backlog of materials to edit so maybe not on this occasion. I did one video of a trip at sea... and it was to Tallinn!!! I thought you might be interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4rTmH-pbNp3nbc

How much does the ferry take?
@Speedbird1FLY5 жыл бұрын
Do you mean how long? If so, I believe about 2:30 hrs. I took a fast ferry when I travelled from Helsinki to Tallinn. Travel time was just 100 minutes. Here's the video I created then kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4rTmH-pbNp3nbc Alas this ferry company no longer operates

Dayi Wang hmm not really. I have a flight booked to London city airport, LCY offers spectacular (and steep) landings

Feel free to stay tuned or subscribe to my channel. My flight to LCY is booked for the end of August and that's something I really look forward to. I'll also be back to TLL in the summer with a flight to Riga (on AirBaltic)

Great video! I love the music through and also the onboard announcements including the automated and live. As a BA member I assume you get free access to all the code share clubs around the world; is this right? I love all the CRJ-900 aircrafts even though the cabin is probably narrower and more cramped then the ATR. (I used to work on the CRJ-200 so the Bombardier jets always interest me.) It must be pretty boring as the pilots and cabin crew if they only fly back and forth all day, 6 legs a day! I love your star system for grading the flight!!
@Speedbird1FLY7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Luke. I wasn't sure of the languages used for the automated announcements - I wonder if another viewer could comment on this point (I thought one might be in Swedish?) Yes, the BA Gold exec membership gives access to business / First lounges for BA and partner lounges (and arrival lounges at Heathrow after a long haul flight). Turboprops can offer a really interesting flying experience (inc. memories of a few very bumpy flights). Now BA has a partnership with the Scottish airline Loganair, I am curious to try some of their more unusual aircrafts - like the Britten Norman islander (only 8 seats!). Despite the short hop across the Gulf of Finland the cabin crew was very engaged, friendly and helpful but you are right some of these "commuter" services must be very taxing for the crew

Late comment: Yes they use Swedish also, thats the 2nd official in Finland. No Estonian it seems. Thanks for the rare & high quality Norra video!
@Speedbird1FLY7 жыл бұрын
mikrokupu Tack! I also noticed the use of Swedish for street names in Helsinki. Thanks your your positive feedback about this video. :-)
@johncruickshank19907 жыл бұрын
Luke Starkenburg TLL doesn’t have a one world lounge so you only get access by Finnair Businsss class or paying to get in. Being BA GOld or Silver on this flight doesn’t grant access.

The pronounciation of the stewardess was very bad. Did I get it right that the flight time was only 25 minutes?
@Speedbird1FLY5 жыл бұрын
I love London yes only 50 miles between the two airports (across the sea)... hence the short flight times. I believe it's the shortest flight between two capital cities in Europe. Thanks for watching 😀
