I suppose people think this way only when they start to have something truly valuable they can lose. And I'm not talking about a car or even a baby (most of us have or will have a baby someday). They must have a lot, I mean, A LOT, money in the game. Have people working for them every day. Generate business activity that actually changes something in the world and they see it everyday.
