I got the APC40 and is there a way I can assign the track and device control like together?? For ex) I have my "Reverb" connected to the Track control & I have my "Beat Repeat" assign to the "Device control "

I tried this in ableton 9 with live 6. The sequencer seems to work however the pads on my apc40 doesn't light up. Also the buttons like: play, device on/off, midi overdub doesn't work. Can anybody shed light on my issue?

After further investigation of the APC40 issue we found that something is broken in 9.1.2 in a way that doesn't allow us to write a workaround for it, so we have to wait until it gets fixed. Now, here's the complication: We've asked Ableton support who is prioritizing incoming bugs and they haven't so far received any complaints from any customers about this issue, which means they probably won't prioritize this bug very highly. In order to make them more aware of the magnitude of this problem, it is very important that you forward your issues directly to Ableton support: [e-mail]. Let them know: Live 9.1.2 has broken the Sonic Faction Max for Live step sequencer for APC40 (which works perfectly well on 9.1.1). Sonic Faction can't fix the problem or find a workaround, so it needs to be fixed on Ableton's end. Make your voice heard so we can get this fixed ASAP. thanks!

Yes, the new Synth sequencer will work with any Ableton or VST/AU instrument. It comes with Archetype Ableton Bundle or with any of the individual synths contained in the bundle =) sonicfaction.com/products/platform/ableton/archetype/

However, you have to use the previous version of the Synth Sequencer to get it to work with APC40... all previous versions are included with the new sequencers in Archetype Ableton bundle
