I have that very same Explosive Cinema film pack; I got it so I could watch Top Cop again since the old different collection someone once gave me is missing. And I don't think I ever saw this on late-night TV as a kid, but I definitely would have enjoyed the heroine's too-tight clothing (although her as a killer nun is definitely appealing as well). I will also admit that, as confusing as it all is, it has ambition and some creativity, and it actually reminds me of the old Street Fighter cartoon from the USA Channel, where the heroes always got messages from the shadowy-yet-omnipresent Street Fighter organization to alert them to various enemy plots.

I have a vague recollection of this movie from HBO (I think). Should tell you that I've seen 100s of flicks on HBO alone, mostly in the 90s. The first couple of movies that I saw included Interceptor starring Andrew Divoff in a rare good guy role. (Never saw the OG with Clint Eastwood, but based on what little I know about it, I think that it's a lower budget Firefox.) Also, an early film for me on HBO was The Punisher with my favorite portrayal of Frank Castle to this day, Dolph Lundgren. Sorry I'm rambling, but I don't have much to say about today's topic, except I love the namecheck of The Hidden (one of my top 10 films ever).

I would like to recommend you two movies, both of which have unusual storytelling. Look from 2007 (and also a series from 2010) was shot exclusively from the perspective of security cameras, industrial cameras, ATM cameras, etc. basically telling a story only the Big Brother could see. Eleven Fourteen from 2003 is telling five independent but intertwined stories, which happen at the same time. The result: 2 accidents, 2 deaths and a random guy getting arrested.
