I’m ok to not have furniture for the whole house, but at least give me: - armchairs in the same style of the sofa - chairs that can fit the table - clutter that can fit the furniture Also, I hate it when they make furniture with swatches of colors that don’t match any other previous furniture. I have billions of furniture but I always end up using always the same stuff because they never match. Sometimes, even the same kit has stuff with swatches that don’t match. It’s ridiculous.

Honestly, in my personal opinion if I were to get the kit, I could easily see myself using the build mode items more than the clothing. However that is also bc I have cc that fills what the kit doesn't and i dont have cc like what the kit does fill though I have searched :') like- i want to make kind of a retro themed sims with kinda a grungy late 80's - early 90's vibe, and weirdly some of this kits items do fit well enough for me, like the couch and the record player. I feel when mixed with the right items, the stereotypical masculine posters and stuff wouldn't even be nearly so bad. Like- seeing the items, i knew what i would do with them. It's just sad that this wasn't a complete kit (though when are they ever) I wont buy the kit but its kinda fun to at least know what i would use if i got it If EA was less cashgrabby maybe i would be willing to *consider* getting it just so i had the items bc finding cc that matches the vibe i go for is kinda difficult and this kit does have a few select items that would look real tasty with my silly basement gaymer sims- (if anyone is curious; they are in a rock band together and are fruity af for each other and I love em lol) their basement needs more items for em but screw EA.

Sims 2 had cars without open world. There's no reason they couldn't give us cars even if they can't move, because so many lots in Sims 4 aren't directly connected to a road so they can't even pull out like in Sims 2 lol. But heck even Sims 1 had tons of CC cars that were just decorative. It's realistic to be able to put cars around, especially with how suburban most of the worlds are, it seems strange to not have cars in driveways everywhere lol. Plus it give Sims something to save up for and rich Sims something to spend money on.

If this was a stuff pack it would be even more pathetic than luxury party stuff. The build stuff is not cohesive or complete at all. The CAS is incoherent and random And how riveting, new drinks and cards as gameplay. This is not gameplay, it's a recolour. It's not comparable to great stuff packs like Paranormal Stuff, or even mediocre ones like Romantic Garden Stuff. At least the fountain was new and had interesting features

THIIIIIS!!! I am getting really tired of Satch's constant platforming of Sims 4 content just to hate on it; like show us your favorite CC creators !! If people can more easily find similar CC, they'll be less likely to buy the new kits if that is the goal, and there will maybe be the added bonus of people wanting to support those same creators which will mean more CC in the future as well. A recent favorite of mine is aharris00britney and Ayoshi's AxA packs as they all have a cohesive vision for the types of sims the items are designed for and have lots of good womenswear AND menswear.

THE VEST IS BROCKEN. You can see the outlines of the trousers at the bottom of the vest. That piece of clothing is straight up brocken. I learned how to make CC. It was painful. So if you don’t want the expansion too bad you can’t have the vibe because those who have the pack will only complain about spending more money they don’t have to spend on something that looks identical to what they already have… is that right? Is offering people the opportunity to alter their game at different price points such a big issue? If you have life and death pack do you really need a kit that’s looks similar NO, if someone doesn’t want to spend money on the expansion but wants the look maybe the kit is their best option. If people feel the need to have both then that’s a them issue, if people are buying expansions and kits constantly and adding too much then they have made their own game quality suffer. Mines running fine because I have self control and I can think and compare which one I would prefer to use my money on.

So I don't think it's a big deal for people to get a kit that has a similar theme to an expansion for $5 instead of $40. Also kits generally have better textures and I think its okay to give out the same item but better. Ever since we got that bistro kit with the new booth, I haven't touched the ones from dine out.

What I do love about this is that there's sweat-stained swatches, untucked shirts, etc. and I've really been craving more grungy clothing options. I love the stained bar and coffee table, I love the GRUNGE of a bachelor/Don Lothario theme. But they could've just given me a sloppy bachelor pack.

Preface: this is NOT to defend EA! I think Maxis may be like Blizzard in that for OW when they make a skin (even something as simple as a recolor of an existing skin) it takes about a year to get through the business/legal side of the company even if they completed it in shorter amount of time. That or they could have gotten what Bungie did where they were told not to put effort is because then the players would expect that level of detail for future content. lol on the stereotypical masculinity. it is, but also, my daughter has a friend whos parents are divorced. Saw dads house when dropping off for a sleep over and it could have absolutely been furnished mostly with this kit.

I'm commenting on every simmers video because nobody has mentioned it. The Casanova furniture looks like it came straight out of Goodfellas or Scarface with the green marble It looks like it's straight out of the '80s Miami cocaine and lovers. The green countertop from life and death reminds me of the '80s also '80s marble was huge and nobody has mentioned it once and I'm the same age as all of you so I've either seen more or you guys are not noticing it which is unacceptable lmao

I'm pretty sure a normal black blazer plus + and tie was either a base game top or a Get To Work top. It was an open black blazer with a white shirt and a black tie, I remember one of the swatches was the same thing, but the shirt was red
