Just a heads up about the new parts; the new leg structure parts are specifically built for combination with the Barzam legs. They are not designed to transform, which is why Mecha had trouble with the transformation in the video. It is stated in the instructions when you're building it, that there are two options for the leg structure, and what the differences are. My guess is that since Mecha is trying to get through a bunch of builds really fast, that he just didn't see it in the instructions. TLDR: New leg parts are for combining with Barzam, old leg parts are for transformation.

When he's going to transformation section I was like "isn't these legs can't transform?"(I have this kit and was try to modify it after found it out) because the woundwort need to spread and retract legs to transform but the new legs can't, and he just skipped that step instead of realized that it can't transform

14:44 The new legs parts you used does not accomodate for the proper leg transformation. If you want that, you have to use the older parts, as stated in the manual. The point of the new legs is simply to accommodate for the Barzam parts.

That figurehead V-fin reminds me of something I just recently learned about: When Albert Ballin went about making a set of big, fast ocean liners to compete with Cunard's _RMS Mauretania_ and White Star's _RMS Olympic_ , he designed a veritable leviathan, the _SS Imperator_ . But just as they were completing him, rumour came down that Cunard's _RMS Aquitania_ was going to be longer than _Imperator_ . So they threw on an eagle bust to increase the length by just enough. Turned out, however, _Aquitania_ was shorter than _Imperator_ 's original length, so they didn't really have to do that. But it certainly gave the ship a distinctive look. Not enough to redeem him from his permanent list, and the bust was removed after it was damaged in a storm, but it was there for awhile. Fortunately, while what made the list happen was something apparently built into the ship that not even Cunard could correct for, Ballin made the other two ships of the Imperator-class, _Vaterland_ and _Bismarck_ , perfect versions, having learned from the mistakes made the first time. Unfortunately he never got to see all three serve his Hamburg-Amerika Line, because they were handed over as war reparations. But they had good careers, and were even made into flagships for the respective lines that got them.

The motif is certainly of a bunny, but with the royal aesthetic of the V Fin and the seamstress- pianist proportioned hands especially in relaxed position, seems you could think the rear of the Woundwart as something like the silhouette of a dress that a teacher of the Industrial Era might wear. May lead to something interesting, as I do like drawing gundams. (Also makes me want this even more, but Haze n' Thley Rah II comes above and before all others.

Kinda wish for a MG 1/100 for this just for a more detailed V-fin. 2nd fave v-fin is the Beginning G's v-fin where it is actually just a beam emitter and functions as part of it's vulcan system (the beam dissipates while firing vulcan shots).

Another thing that I've noticed with this series (together with the latest re-imagined ones) is how big and really chunky the mecha in this timeline, and most of them are packed with weaponry enough to flatten a colony, so it wouldn't be surprising if this series ain't able to juiced out most kits due to how massive they usually are.

To me it seems like Bandai is on it's way to the more bigger MS. Now that we already have two units with the Psycho Gundam arms, it's only a matter of some new additional parts and combining already existing models.

@@crosshero9436 Really hope that was the case. Bandai ever since the past years ain't even interested in updating any MG sizes, and even the last PG release is just another iteration. They're lately focused on either HG sizes or Metal Builds so far.

My favorite will always be the incarnations of Unicorns. The fact it starts out a giant horn when the MS is in Unicorn Mode, then it spreads out when they go into Destroy Mode is phenomenal. It's like watching a Gundam undergo a metamorphosis of some kind

built 2 of these. the knee in the leg can bend forward. this was done because she is shown with the knee bent in that manner in some line art. painted both kits, i found Tamiya XF-17-Sea Blue matched prefect.

I stll have this kit on my backlog... technically I only need some more time to actually build it. It's the first time I work with a kit with plastic that is this dark, so thanks for the advice on how to work out the cleanup. I better get myself a glass file before I get started. Don't think I will display it in it's transformed form. The Very unique design is what originally drew me to the kit and that I want to display. Maybe there is some use for the spare parts in some kitbashing or customizing projects later down the line.

Just try to picture that V-fin on some of the other Gundams out there. The image popped into my head of the Calibarn with that angel V-fin on it, glowing with the rainbow colors of its active shell unit. Might have to see if I can track down a resin reproduction of that V-fin or something. As to the Woundwort... yeah, it's a weird suit and I wish it wasn't so fiddly, but it's still one of my fave Gundam designs on aesthetics alone. Totally agree with the silver rating.

I have both the standard and Psycho Blade TR-6 and love them- never enough pegfeet mecha in gundam. They’re such cool little kits that I don’t even have them posed with weapons- the railgun is a little clunky and the claw looks kinda lame from the underside

I hope the legs are better on this Woundwort. I love the Kehaar so much, bought myself 2, but the legs are noticeably slack and hardly hold a pose. Guess that's the downside of using plastic that's too premium and easy on the build experience.

usage of polycaps for the hips of the woundwort line really screws up everything imo. its fine for the woundwort but the problem quickly becomes apparent when u start attaching things to the legs. the worst offender being the hyzanthley ii.

the reason why the transformation does not seem right is because of the build you choose, the psyco blade custom is supposed to be unable to transform. if you look back at the instruction manual you have the option to build psyco blade custom ver or black hares ver (aka black wounwort), which is the main reason why you have almost the full extra head plus the leg part for either 2 ver is slightly different
