I don't know Coffee House crime is really good with Adrian, disturbing, ape Honcho, monsters, Truth for reality, Mr Black pasta, dire trip, the crime Atlas, black girl lost, Mr Ballin, that dude Jack with the curly hair he's a really good Storyteller too. those are just a few of some really really good ones. Especially Truth for reality and Mr Black pasta. They make this channel look insignificant. Both of them really really care about the victims. Mike's is not bad the only thing that drives me nuts is he's got a bad habit of taking old cases from like a year ago deleting them reuploading them and making them seem like they're new. That shit drives me crazy cuz it makes me feel like I've lost my mind. It's happened like five or six times now. But other than that yeah he's all right. Before he started doing that I liked him a lot more. His humor is really good but like I said the other ones care a lot more about the victims Adrian from the coffee house crime he's also really caring when it comes to the victims in their stories. You should check some of them out. I have a doorbell compilation on mine. I also do some

Breaks my heart when I first see the photo of the victims, especially one where they're smiling/clearly having a good time in it. Makes me think of how terrified they must have been when they knew their fate - what their facial expression must have looked like when they were at the mercy of their killer. So freaking tragic.

Just snuffed out from the world.. And for what?! Makes me so sad.. And so mad.. People that can steal a life like that are the lowest of the low, in my opinion!! Despicable!! @@SandyMeeshell if you haven't already, you should watch the "I Survived" series on KZbin. It's first person story telling from people that should have died after the awful things that happened to them but somehow survived. They often talk about how they were feeling and what they were thinking in those final terrifying moments. It's really interesting that so many say the same things and some day things I never would have considered running through your mind as someone is trying to kill you. It's a really great insight into understanding how they were feeling. Highly recommend. It's also on Hulu but then you have to watch commercials and KZbin also has more episodes.

Funny that - I was just thinking when I started watching this video about how insane it is that you're somehow able to cram out 2 videos a week, while doing almost everything yourself. As a chronic procrastinator, it blows my mind. Seriously. Absolutely insane, big dog. Even weekly is still mind-bogglingly frequent, and you ALWAYS remain consistent to your upload schedule. I notice that's something quite a few channels have a hard time with (I completely understand, haha). But DUDE. You continue to blow me away. Weekly upload is still fantastic, ESPECIALLY with the added bonus of longer/more-time-to-research videos. Even if they weren't - your current videos once a week would still meet 110% of my expectations (not that my expectations matter, I'm just a random dude). Looking forward to your new project. Stay golden, bucko. I'll see you next month on the turd. :)

Longtime fan here, (since sometime before 100k, at least). We’re very happy that your channel has been thriving, as we’ve witnessed you grow, you more than deserve your support and success. We’re also now elated for you that you’re at an exciting moment of evolving into… the future! We will be supporting you through it all. My boyfriend is not a true crime fan, because he just doesn’t like anything “dark.” He knew I watched Disturban, This Is Monsters, Slapped Ham, Coffee House Crime, EWU, JCS, Lazy Masquerade, Nuke’s Top 5, Deadbug says, Dire Trip, Missing Person Mysteries, Shrouded Hand, Kendall Rae, Mr. Ballen, and a few more. Most of which, my boyfriend won’t watch (well, he does like the paranormal stuff). However, years ago, my boyfriend stumbled upon That Chapter, and said to me, “Let’s watch something together, for once. How about this guy (aka Mike)? He looks like he might be cool.” Lo and behold, my boyfriend, who doesn’t even like true crime, not only discovered one of MY top 5 favorite YT channels, but he truly enjoyed your content based on several different factors, including your one of a kind sense of humor! That Chapter is the ONLY true crime channel my boyfriend will watch, and as for me, well, I’ve been hooked ever since he found you. Starting that first night, I began going through every upload. Excellent content, bar none, and still going strong! I know you probably won’t see this, and that’s okay. It honestly makes Mike addictive true crime channel all the more impressive , the fact that it's a one man show. There's YTers out there with a full editing team and their videos aren't half the quality, or as unique as That Chapter. I also like Mr Ballen but he isn't different kind true crime/mystery channel. Also very unique we really knows how to tell a story and that's exactly what he does.

Wow! This happened in my home town, the Mennonite facility is only about a mile from my house. I moved to Texas in 2009, but my daughter lives in my house and she never told me about this. So sad this happened to these people, they are so nice and make excellent products to sell. RIP Sasha!

I am so glad he was caught. He was a monster and I feel like if he got away with it he could have become a serial killer. He had no connection to this person just that she was apart of something he hated so he took her life. RIP to Sasha and I hope that her family can find peace knowing the monster was locked away. On another note I’m excited to see what changes you have for your channel in the future Mike. I’ll be here rooting for you and anticipating the new video.

Do you think he was just a pure psycho or did something really happen to make him hate this religious group so hard? I kind of agree with mike, it would be strange to harbor so much hate for no reason 🤔

I think his upbringing had something to do with who he became as an individual. however I don't believe it's the only factor. There is plenty of debate on what creates a psychopath. Nature or nurture. Bundy, Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer. countless books argue what makes a serial killer. I'm thankful that whatever it is that makes an individual act on such atrocious impulses I was spared.

Thought the same! This guy def. seems like a serial killer in mindset. He took out his anger on Mennonites as did his brothers, but I doubt his bros had ideas on killing anyone. Just going to randomly kill someone on your own, driving like 7+ hrs away to do so, seems to be less of a hate crime and more of just a killer looking for a victim to kill. He probably would have killed again if not caught; mind have even killed before and not been caught.

Sounds like there is some dysfunctional family dynamics involved that spurred the perp to commit this senseless murder. RIP Sasha; a pity that you were randomly victimized . You hit the nail on the head when you said there’s more to this story. I also think there was some deep rooted trauma that he endured as a child, possibly at the hands of a woman or his mother. I say that bc he picked Sasha, a woman. (Although he was possibly abused by men and women or just a man and only chose Sasha bc she was a victim of opportunity). But i think you’re right about that. Very sad case 😢
@davelind8854

he may have been abused or maybe his psyche just magnified smaller things in his childhood , maybe he picked up ways of thinking from the culture that reinforced the perceived injury . i often wonder how we can kill a million iraqis and call each other heroes without any repercussions , add economic inequality, single shooter games, prestige tv ( sopranos)`a whole host of manichean cultural ideas. surprised it doesn't happen more often. not an excuse just saying america is weird

Or he targeted her because she was a mennonite woman and he had sadistic sexual frustrations he wanted to enact on a perceived virgin woman (same way pedos think)and uses trauma to excuse himself.

Curious how those who "have a grudge" and want to harm someone almost never choose a "bad person". Wonder why that is. So glad they caught the culprit. RIP Sasha. Sidenote: always thought Mike had a whole team behind TC like most yt channels so i'm amazed and surprised by Mike's efforts and talent! Can't wait for the Next Chapter of That Chapter.
