Well they practically did in Skyward Sword, and obviously couldn’t really do that in any other games since then, since the only main 3D Zelda since then was Breath of The Wild. Double Clawshot only works in 3D Zelda, and all normal items got the axe in BoTW.

Oot had two hookshots. This might imply they tried to replicate the clawshots and didn't have the technology. Maybe lost one of them, made an inferior hookshot to replace it. The longshot is the true "replica" given how long it stretches and its different color, purple. The sheikah tech in ss is iridescent and the two hookshots line up having those main colors. Given where and who has them also makes sense. The other longshot could've easily been in the sky but because the kakariko had the replacement on the surface, we had no need or the means to go find it in the sky.

Well looking at the games code its treated as a more powerful version of the bombs and to prove this you could even use it to destroy spider webs but the way they get destroyed is by turning black and crumble as if they were burning.

The Deedlee Dee... I meant The City in The Sky is my favourite Dungeon in the entire series, along with the art style of the game also being my favourite. In the cannon room in Kakariko Village, there is a glitch that if you save in that room and manually quit to the main menu, you will need to restart the game again. Fortunately the HD version of TP is the enhanced version of the Gamecube version, which did not have the glitch. If the HD version was based off of the Wii version, then the glitch might have been in the game still because the glitch was only on the Wii. Deedlee dee... Damn :)

I was one of the unfortunate ones who saved in that room. I spent two hours trying to find a way out. Then I reluctantly restarted the game on a new file. Best glitch ever. I got to enjoy the game a second time around. I think that’s why TP is one of my favorite LoZ games.

46:35 In my first playthrough of TP I got stuck at this point for quite a while. You see, I'd never figured out how to kill the tile worms. I'd just been able to get the one you're meant to kill in the forest temple, to launch me onto the top platform, entirely skipping killing it. So when I reached this room, I spent a good 30 minutes or more trying to jump around it and failing every single time, before I finally figured out the boomerang kills them.

Twilight Princess has many of the best dungeons in the entire series, as well as many of the best dungeon items. But it can also be very demanding, especially the City in the Sky, which is very large and tough to maneuver around.

I personally think that most of TP's dungeons are actually extremely weak when considering the dungeon as a whole, and is absolutely carried by the individual puzzles and the items needed for them. The magnetic walls/ceilings in the Goron Mines for example, are a great puzzle tool, but are marred by that dungeon being mind-numbingly linear (especially when it would've had the best excuse to allow collecting the key pieces in any order). Dungeons like Lakebed Temple and Snowpeak Ruins are definitely great dungeons though.

Money is such a big thing in TP because it replaced the original 'magic meter' that was scrapped later on. You can see hints of it existing in some of the old game booklets, there were pictures of Link with his hearts and then a green bar underneath. That green bar was supposed to be the magic meter.

After Twilight Princess is done, DeeBeeGeek can finally watch that incredible fan animation, The Legend of Zelda: Hero's Purpose. This animation by MajorLink is just too good, and unless you've seen or played OoT, Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess, you'll never be able to understand the true depth of how good this hidden story is. I freaking love the music for this dungeon. If you listen to the song from the start it begins peaceful with the choir and the Dee doo loo sounds being fairly clear and high pitched but as the song goes on they get pitch shifted lower and lower and the choir becomes slightly more menacing, almost to indicate how this was a great city filled with Oocca before Argorok started rampaging and breaking shit. Hell, the Oocca sounds (the Dee Doo Loos) being pitched lower could imply that they are being killed even. Definitely the most involved dungeon theme in the game.

i dunno if you've finished this game yet or not, but here's a hidden tip about doing spin attacks instantly that will also be helpful for the rest of the 3D Zelda games (except skyward sword i think) Quick Spin attacks can be done by rotating the control stick in a quick clockwise motion at lease twice and then pressing the normal sword swing button right afterwards. so like this: Rotate, rotate, B It's especially helpful in this game for knocking non boss enemies over and following up with a finishing blow Really hope this helps! Yeah, I can safely say that while Snowpeak is the hardest dungeon in the game overall in terms of hard fights against enemies, City in the Sky is the hardest in terms of puzzles. The way to get the huge fan in that central hub area blowing is especially cruel for most people to figure, and the entire temple overall takes really careful spatial awareness with where you Clawshot to, especially in the first half due to so many of the areas that require Double Clawshots essentially being automatic pitfalls if you carelessly shoot yourself at them without realizing that doing so screws you over.

Not just Gamecube. Wii as well. I got caught by it my first playthrough. I thought the "cannon room glitch" people were talking about was something to do with the cannon on the lake. It's nothing to do with the statue respawning. It's that if you leave the room, Shad will tell you that you still have something to do, and won't let you leave. However, after you save and quit, when you come back, Midna will act as if Shad is still in the room, and won't let you warp. There's a similar glitch where if you save and quit after the bridge you just restored gets warped away behind you, you'll be on the wrong side of the bridge once you reload your game.

I KNOW I played this game all the way through but I remember very little of it, excepting the main story, key scenes like the temple of time reveal, the battles on Epona, the Zora river, and the ice dungeon. Yetis were pretty memorable. As was the wolf stuff. You would think I would remember more of the temples. But all I remember really is the vague sense that they game play was really easy and repetitive for a game that went out of it's way to teach you "essential hidden techniques". I always appreciated it as a beautiful game. However, seeing him play is dusting off the cobwebs and giving me new appreciation of this game for it's creativeness, story, and accessibility to all sorts including those impaired by the demands of their job necessitating longer passage of time and forgetting of key details between plays. For the owl statue puzzle with the two caves next to each other, easiest way to do it is to move the statue under the vines, drop down to it and get the sky character, move the statue between the two caves _while staying in the first cave_ then jump to the statue and over to the second cave.

I have a love hate relationship with these videos. 90% of his struggles would be solved with two very simple changes. Lock on to enemies more often than once every 500 enemies and look around more before you declare yourself lost and just leave an area. I fell victim to it. Back then we had no way to find out immediately that it was a glitch. Internet not as expansive. I bought walkthroughs and then realized my game was locked. I was forced to start all over. Traumatized thinking I was the only one. I’m glad Dee and the MODS brought it up. It gave me some kind of closure knowing I wasn’t the only one. 😭

This boss is one of my favorites. Also when you get back to playing bench in it hope you'll do some of the player home building, fishing, character quests, and hangout events. They add a lot to the game and introduce you to alot of characters. Also cant wait for you to do the story with "Dain" leading to Inezuma! Look forward to your reaction

24:50 I watched this in the stream and meant to say this when this video first was uploaded on KZbin, but this "Fact" is slightly incorrect and links to another Fun Fact. Despite Nintendo making this game on the GC hardware first, they actually purposefully delayed the GC release of this game to convince everyone to buy a Wii to play the game instead. It's actually the first print if the Wii version that has this glitch. Due to the GC release coming out later, it gave Nintendo time to patch out that glitch in that version. All releases of the Wii version past the initial also had the glitch removed.
