As a fellow Av-Geek this is a great story so I'm glad (and a little jealous) Lucas got to partake in this amazing experience for his 13th birthday! Hats off to United and Emirates for putting this together for Lucas, it's a day he won't soon forget. As a side note, United Airlines does not operate the A380, none of the domestic airlines do.

Thanks, Steve!!! It was the BEST day for SURE!!! Absolutely UNREAL to see the A380 up so close. Thanks for clarifying things!!! I knew I was right about QANTAS and Emirates...not so sure about United. That was definitely a faux pas during our chat!!! :D
