As someone from the UK, the police do not investigate ANYTHING. Burglaries, robberies, assaults, SA's. They have something called a solvability score, and depending on if a crime can be solved easily or not depends on how much effort they put into it.

UK police are absolutely terrible. when I was 15 I reported a 30 year old grooming me, wanting to meet up with me, sending me inappropriate material and even expressing a love for CSAM and the police never even bothered to try to do anything or follow up on it after the first meeting, despite myself and the predator both being in within the UK. even with direct interaction with a kid, that guy wasn't dealt with. so I fear that there's a good chance they've been letting this guy off, even if any concerns have possibly been raised with them in an appropriate way. I honestly get the impression that the UK police force doesn't give a shit or even actively protects predators. would also explain how some of the infamous predators from the UK also got away with sick shit for so long.

For one there was a girl who came out who was used in one of his accounts. She said he went back and used photos and videos of when she was 15. She is gathering evidence to take them to court. Also he’s contacting children and trying to become “friends” with them. Along with taking photos of children on their way home from school and at parks which could be stalking. There is much more real grounded evidence that isn’t being brought up Muta.

Yes and no, will elaborate. Stable Diffusion or it's image set is trained on billions of images from the LAION database. The way it works is stable diffusion and the dataset doesn't actually contain images nor does it remember them. LAION as a database would contain probably hundreds of millions of faces, backgrounds, animals, objects, features. A layer of noise is applied over the trained images and stable diffusion runs through a discriminator or transformer to try to estimate what the noise is by slowly removing this on a highly compressed image until it's basically "finetuned" to a degree. This is not what is stored in a dataset. The dataset uses weights and properties defining red, green, blue for a pixel that are represented by numerical values. Could a person legitimately replicate a real person? To a degree yes but then it is no longer really a novel creation but something more along the lines or a deep fake. If someone is deliberately entering in prompt the name of a celebrity and it's overtrained, it will equally try to create the closest representation of those features but will not be a match 100 percent identical unless someone is deliberately swapping faces So ultimately, you can expect that at some point with billions of images trained, that this is some form of collage, but it's not that simple. The representation is novel because ckpt or safetensor files can't store "images". It's still of course a concern for people abusing these tools for such purpose.

For reference I watched 2 men threaten another man with a knife and rob a bag presumably containing drugs, because when I was informed of the charges it stated he was in possession of class-A's. Only one got caught. The police initially wanted me as a witness, so they had me on standby for two months. Eventually I get called up, it's a two train journey to get to the courthouse and right as the second train is about to depart I get a message stating that I'm no longer required and to still be prepared... Who do I see outside of my house not a month later? The same dude who held a guy at knifepoint to rob drugs. That's 3 months for: Assault, Battery, Theft, Possession of Class-A drugs and Possession of a Deadly Weapon. Now don't get me wrong there's no doubt in mind the guy he did this to was no saint, but that shouldn't affect his charges. There is no such thing as "British" police. It's either "Police England", "Police Scotland" or the "Garde" ALL have very different laws. All these countries have their own government from devolution. Just wanted to point that out because people seem assume that the UK is a whole country, it's not, it's made up of 4 countries. This takes place in England, therefore Police England will deal with it. It's like saying "American police" when referring to the NYPD. New York has very different laws to Mississippi. It sounds ridiculous.

The "UK Metro Police" wouldn’t be involved- the Metropolitan Police or "Met" is the London force. Doncaster is in South Yorkshire so any investigation would be performed by South Yorkshire Police. I believe a previous video on SS9 (can't recall if it was yourself or another creator) mentioned West Yorkshire Police, this is a neighbouring force who would not normally have any jurisdiction.

UK here. This brought back memories of something that happened when I was a kid. This was before the Internet was mainstream. A national newspaper thought it would be a good idea to do a 2 page spread detailing photos of recently released s*x offenders. Loads of blurry, grainy, low res mug shots. No other information. A group of vigilantes (kids and mums included) targeted the house of a pensioner that kinda, sorta looked like if you squint one of the child s*x offenders. Shouting outside his house, smashing things. Each night got worse. The national news had to report on it to get people to leave the poor guy alone! Looks like some things don't change. People going off half cocked and dragging innocent people into their frenzy in looking for a rabbit hole payoff.

Yo man Brit here, I think this was an important video to make and I definitely agree that the investigation has gone pretty south, however just to rebuttal a couple of things that you said, first of all the video of him chasing a kid is very much real, its actually on Nicks original video, Secondly UK policy genuinely are trash, when it comes to potential predators it really does seem like they do absolutely nothing at worst and at best even try to safeguard predators, I don't know if you're aware of the whole Mark Feely stuff but I highly doubt that he would have been given the protection he got here over in the states. I do however as a whole agree with your point of view, the UK is also full of what you might call "harmless weirdos", my home town had a couple and they almost give some places a bit of character as strange as that sounds. My inclination is that this guy is one of those said weirdos who maybe doesn't fully grasp the social boundaries he is crossing with children. If the guy really was a genuine predator then I find it hard to believe that he would walk the streets in what is essentially his fetish gear and post himself all over social media.
