I was at this show, tenth row from the stage and 9 months pregnant. I still remember so much from that night and I also remember a very nervous security guy who told me to not to have the kid tonight, lol. I had her the next day and all three of my kids were raised on the Smiths music

I cant explain how much I love this version. Johnny’s riff, Andy’s bass, Mike’s drum, and of course Morrissey’s smooth, rich, voice. All of these make me feel so truly alive. It gives me the most wonderful nostalgia. The song is so simple, it’s like they just found a fact and stated it. I’m considered a chubby girl, and when people make fun of me for that, I always find myself coming back to this song. Just hearing morrissey, my favorite singer, say “some girls are bigger than others” is enough to stop my crying. It’s currently 5:41 pm, Tuesday, July 5th, 2022. I’m happy. To The Smiths, thank you.
