I respectfully disagree about expectations because there's a good amount of film footage and biopics over the years that showed she was soft-spoken and wore no makeup, but had a androgynous confidence about her. But Q still definitely worked because she used that Amelia was a famous female pilot and got lost while flying as the backbone for her one-liners! Very successful!
