The Snowdon Grand Tour. 24 miles around the base of Snowdon. ft. Dinorwic Quarry

High winds meant the summits were going to be unpleasant. A backup plan was needed. I've always had a route in mind to walk around Snowdon, visiting every main path on the mountain. It turned out to be a great outing with Dinorwic Quarry thrown in for good measure. High mountain passes, deep bogs, sleepy villages and stunning scenery the entire way.
