I went to Saturday and Sunday Mass at 2 different parish's and heard the homily for Trinity Sunday two different ways but listened to this homily on Hallow and man, it was powerful. We found a CD published by Asscension when one of my sons actually picked it out for us to listen to. That and a "Help America, pray the Rosary" bumper sticker that the boys put on their red car (ages 2 and 4). It was on reconciliation and was what led to my own husband heading to confession after decades. This homily felt personal. It was beautiful and I will be having my husband listen to it tomorrow after work. Ft. Mike has this gift of really helping you draw closer God. Even referring to Our Father as Dad. I am going to start doing that myself. God Bless Fr. Mike Schmitz and many prayers for him as he continues to serve Jesus, the Church, and followers of Christ.

A beautiful message today. God has adopted us as His children through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit thanks to Christ and like the Roman law analogy, He will also never abandon us. (Romans could dump their natural born kids but not adopted ones, I see a modern parallel to the strict adoption and foster laws versus abortion- killing of unborn children). * The difference between calling God- Allah (Master) and Aba (Father) is indeed the love. God has authority over us but out of love and not just for the sake of it. The most formal way of calling father in any language is the best way to call the Heavenly Father as it avoids any other misinterpretation. * The analogy of Pinocchio to explain our Baptism is important. We get renewed and we change after the Baptism. From creatures madr by God, we become adopted children through the Holy Spirit. * God does want to spend time with us and that thing is seen even in the story of Adam and Eve when God desired to see them in the garden but they hid themselves. O my gosh! -- I finally understand (why we celebrate) Trinity Sunday ‼️ I grew up knowing that the Trinity is something we believe as Catholics, but I never caught on as to why it was so special that it would have its own Solemnity. Hi Fr. Mike and Front Pew Crew! I went to Mass in person yesterday! And I am still humbled that God allows me to keep working through my personal struggles. Thanks for the online mass and this ministry. P.S.: Some translations are "I have tattooed your name in my palm." (Also some Catholic ones, so maybe the Priests and Nuns that have tattoos helped translate into English from the original did that.) That's the scripture that helped me make the decision to get some tattoos to help my health -- mental, physical, spiritual.

Sweet Homily. I still have trouble with the concept of the Trinity. My mind wants to think of God as the old bearded man in the icons. Jesus as him in human form that was needed as our example and sacrifice. The Holy Spirit as the father's spirit that makes us better than we are. It's difficult for my brain to accept the son existed before Jesus was born of Mary. This 3 person concept. I begin imagining 3 alien scientists creating us in a lab and setting us on this Earth garden. Maybe some day, I'll get it.

but I practice two things - latin l and the absence of handshaking with anyone. It's obligatory for me to be on mass. Even among monsters :D But there is no obligation to be touched by any monster (especially not by any male monster ) Also, if you see me during the mass (which will never happen, because even if I were in your city, I assure you, I would be at someone else's mass :), you'll see, what separation from others latin provides. It's a perfect bubble. If I am with my family, I say pax tecum only for my family (not very often, my toddler doesn't like church music and we wait until he will grow out of it )
