@laminage6 жыл бұрын
It's not as uncommon as you think. Michael Zaslow the Legendary Soap Actor who played one of the Greatest Villians on Daytime as Roger Thorpe on Guiding Light was revered by his Co-Stars. Also, both Janice & Meadow were in the Wrong. Meadow's punishment was "tame" but she's spoiled so what's the difference. Then let's not forget that Janice didn't have Two Of Nothing, since returning from Washington, DC. She's a leech and Tony calls her on that.

@@TheSebasdesign I'd say Karen's the closest well-known stereotype, but I feel that Janice best represents the aunt who seems super fun when you're a kid (especially compared to your parents) and who honestly nurtures some of your sensitive & thoughtful impulses, but as you grow up you realize more and more that hers is mostly a lifetime of repressing childhood trauma through being the free-spirited "crazy aunt", not realizing how all the worst parts of the people who hurt her are manifesting through the hippy bit.

Beautiful how when Tony comes at her hard , Janice doesnt blink, backs up a mere inch and then steps right back up to him. It took a curse from Carmella before she lowered her eyes.
@houndsofroses37276 жыл бұрын
Because... even though he's a mob boss, you forget that she is after all his sister and so stuff like that wouldn't shock her...I think she is also older than him and therefore considers herself the dominant one and sees his threats and aggression as temper tantrums. She only winced when Carmella swore because it was so out of character for her.
@allys744 Жыл бұрын
I love how earlier, Janice tries to explain meadow’s reckless behavior as a way of trying to reach “independence.” But once she sees how bad the house actually looks (given the fact that she has legal rights to the house), she gets upset. Her selective outrage is priceless 🙄🤣

Janice is definitely correct here. The punishment was a joke. That girl should have been sent to clean the house then taught some respect with additional labor around the house so she appreciated other peoples things.

You're all forgetting that Janice is trying to lecture Tony and Carm on how to discipline their child when she herself is an absolute failure of a mother and abandoned her son and left him in the streets. Among other things Janice is never in the right place to call someone out, she has way too much dirt on her. Like when Tony and Junior both warned Bobby about Janice, Tony especially knows her past with men.
@lordgargamel41247 жыл бұрын
Siegmeyer agreed! Weather you have dirt in your past or not, you dont have a right to lecture anyone on how to raise their children. The only time someone should interfere is when their is clear abuse. Otherwise shut the fuck up, its not your place to opinionate of matters that do not pertain to you.
