The strangest part is.. after Ralph's son got injured he became a better person, like genuinely remorseful to a point (albeit a violent made man in the mob), I don't think it was Ralphie who killed Pie'o'Mie the horse. I think Paulie did it to frame Ralph. Don't forget it was Paulie who leaked the insult to Johnny Sack and Paulie and Ralphie despised each other. Defo a Paulie move. Ralph was slowly becoming a slightly better person. I.e not beating pregnant women to death or indirectly causing a mob war (on par with Blundetto).

When Bobby is thinking, in a state of devastating grief, that he may not want to continue a life of crime, what does Janice do ? She manipulates, connives, and uses her force of personality to push him into getting back into the Mafia life. Which got him killed. She's a sick, depraved individual. And if you actually do like her character, that reflects very poorly upon you as a person. I'm sorry, but it's true.
