The tragic life of Uncle June. First he resign as the boss, and loses all his men and power. Then he gets arrested, and has to deal with one lawsuit after another, costing him huge amounts of money. Then he gets cancer. After he beats the cancer, he gets Alzheimer and becomes senile. He ends up being an old and forgotten man in a nursing home, alone and without anyone. I truly feel sorry for him.

Cancer was almost a good thing for junior, it allowed him to mellow out and just be the old man and stop caring so much about the respect and boss position. Granted he does still care about these things going forward but once season 4 and 5 comes around he’s much more mellow with Tony and Bobby, until the Alzheimer’s really starts killing him.

For the love of Christ, you people legitimately don’t get the point of this show. Not every emotion he has is an act, it’s the battle and the struggle between the emotions, the man he wants to be and thought he should have been, and the man that experience and circumstance has made him, which is a man he can never seem to outrun. Why would he have the dream sequences, the fainting episodes, and why would he he be so grief stricken and guilty about Gloria- to the point of investigating on his own after she’s dead- if he didn’t feel?
