The way Paulie acted to the Russian's both in attitude and action to Valery is incredible. He knows full well the boss of his family deals with Valery's friend constantly and what they are capable of. I mean the livery driver got beat up sure but you know he's nobody to mess with to go after a boss's sister. That's fearless and he surely had more power behind to call in had it likely not have been clear to him it wasn't a good idea to retaliate. He also would have understood Tony as boss had to act in response.

Tony’s attitude towards Paulie took a turn for the worse after he caused so much trouble after the Ginnie Sack mole joke, Tony knew it was Paulie that told Johnny Sack. In fact Tony almost killed Paulie on his boat when he asked Paulie if he was the one that told J. Sack about the joke, I think the only reason he didn’t kill him is because he didn’t have a gun on him because he was looking at a knife and a hatchet.
@thebadaids Жыл бұрын
He didn’t kill him because of the painting he had retouched of Tony after Tony talked to Beansie shortly before they went out to the boat. Without Beansie reminding Tony how much Paulie loved him, and how he was all he had because he never had kids, I’m convinced he’d have really done it. That conversation also brought the realization to Tony that Paulie disobeying Tony and having the picture made up of him as a general wasn’t a joke or because he was greedy, it was because that’s how he honestly saw Tony. His leader. That’s what I’ve gotten from it. I’ve watched the entire series all the way through probably as many times as most episodes in a regular show. It’s crazy how much new stuff you pick up every time you watch it, you start seeing it almost the same way the writers saw it. All the psychology and intricacies.

What I never understood in pine barrens is why would tony send 2 made capos to collect a small payment? I’m sure they had an entire roster of muscle/soldiers they could have just sent to do it. 2 high ranking capos would be much more likely to be tailed/spied on by the cops than some lower level guys. Or was this tony and sil rubbing it in Paulies face he’s no longer the underboss/as valued as he once was?

Same as Sons of Anarchy. They supposedly have dozens of chapters across america, but the same 6 founding dudes has to always do the work.
@jefferycrouse4652 Жыл бұрын
@@thecappeningchannel515 at least with sons it seemed like each chapter was self contained. They all worked their own gigs, we just focused on the founding chapter and all the shit they did. Then again we did only see like 3 or 4 other chapters during the show
