this game is my childhood. honestly i genuinely did like SM3, i was too young to understand the issues fr but now that i’m older the game is definitely trash 😹 but in a good way , it’s DEFINITELY dated 🤣 but i feel like it still holds up (at least in the comedic aspect of the game)

I use to play this all the time when I was a kid. I remember when my older cousin and I use to take turns playing it on my PS2 when I stayed by their place for a week or two, I was stuck on one level and I couldn't get past it so he helped me!

Spider-Man 2 is easily the better one, they had more time and focus working on making that one as good as it is. But in fun territory, I played Spider-Man 3 a lot more, mostly cause I have easier access to this one.

There's only the one QTE at the beginning of the game that has a funny fail. The rest aren't like that so you don't have to keep failing them if you don't want to.

I definitely preferred Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man 3 just wasn't very fun for Me. I was super looking forward to It when I first tried It but It was just.. A clunky mess. Pretty ugly too even back In 2007. It just felt lacking and New York was nothing but a mess of browns, greys and other muddy colours. The Webswinging was also rather lifeless. Then there are the terrible Boss Fights. Only thing I liked about It was the Arsenic Candy Girl Theme and while this Is one of My least favourite Spider-Man Games, I will give Treyarch credit for building New York complete with a Subway System at least almos a year before GTAIV.

spiderman 2 is definitely not. If you want the best? it starts from 2008 when web of shadows was out. Shattered dimensions, and then the insomniac spider universe. There's no place for Spiderman 2 to fit in as one of the best, considering the not so many spider man games out there.
