In across the spider verse, during the first Vulture fight, Miguel says "And don't get me STARTED on Doctor Strange and that little nerd back on Earth-199999!" that being a reference to No Way Home.

33:21 TROUBLE was a comic that basically said Aunt May was actually Peter’s real mom. Needless to say, marvel completely ignores that and for good reason. (And yes the teen pregnancy is referring to aunt may getting pregnant with Peter as a teen)

The goblin design in Spider-Man 2002 isn't anything close to being a so called "power ranger design" when the suit is supposed to be for MILITARY USE and that's why the general is there and the board members are between 2 business (OsCorp and head aerospace). So calling the raimi goblin design while knowing this fact is so stupid and shouldn't be a negative about the movie

The Jewish Peter Parker thing stems from years of various writers making little nods to their own upbringings. He also uses yiddish now and then but that could very easily just be bc he's from ny. Ultimate Spider-Man Peter was probably the most overtly jewish-coded version while Peter B Parker in the spiderverse movies flat out had a jewish wedding.

@calibvr It's just a common phrase that refers to a character's implied identity without it being explicitly said. It came from phrases like "Queer Coded" (look up the Hayes Code if you haven't already, it's a very interesting topic)

Peter was not molested , the comic shows a young Peter who was almost going to be molested until he ran away and told his aunt and uncle about the incident and the molester was arrested .Still it was pretty disturbing

I think the tom holland into the spider-verse entry is a reference to the scene where Miguel talks about the events of no way home with something like the 'the nerd from earth 1999999'

I think the puddle controversy happened because of the Watchdogs scandal from a few years prior where the retail game barely matched the E3 footage.

You neglected to mention that Japanese Spider-Man is the first Super Sentai series to feature mechs of any kind as none of the Super Sentais prior featured any and was more similar to Kamen Rider in that regard.

One More Day is the ultimate character assassination of Spider-Man. Even to a non-fan, there’s severe problems with the whole logic behind the plot.

For Gaunt, hes an extremely obscure spiderman villain. His actual identity is Dr Stromm, who in the raimi films you know as the poor scientist that is thrown threugh the glass chamber by norman during the Goblin transformation scene. In comics, Stromm is a robotics scientist for oscorp and modifies his body to become a robot and takes up the villain name Robot Master. He then rebrands himself as Gaunt after a few years. The original plans were for Harry Osborn to return from the grave as Gaunt, rebuilt by Dr Stromm with his memory wiped and take over Oscorp from within via mind control. However the editor at the time hated that idea, as he thought Harry's demise as the Green Goblin was the perfect ending to his character (i agree with this). So writers rewrote Gaunt to be an upgraded Dr Stromm

14:17 While he is indeed an "alternate version" of Peter Parker, I think it's odd you didn't mention at all how Spider-Boy belongs to the "Amalgam Universe", which happens right after the Marvel vs DC event back in the 90s. He's a combination of Peter Parker and Superboy

Appreciate the covering of this iceberg! Just wanted to say that I think it’d be good if you tried to edit out/re-record certain lines because I heard quite a couple of mistakes when you were speaking. Which is totally understandable, but I found it distracting. Other than that I found this to be really interesting and once again, the time and effort you put into this is commendable! Keep up the good work!

If James Cameron did Spider-Man, he’d probably subject it to the current Terminator 2 and True Lies remaster treatment. Using AI algorithms and applying the dreaded teal filter to a film shot on 35mm.
