@tamlandipper29 thanks! My dad and I cracked open the 14-year Singleton Speyside the other night. We had one while watching "A Christmas Carol" last night. My son said it smelled "really strong."

This kind of stories make me think of the Slavic witches and vengeful ghost’s 3/4 phases parasitic and restorative metamorphosis of their corporeal bodies,fuelled by their parasitic ethereal bodies (in an variation, their first phase form from their blood, has one eye on their forehead and they attack travelers in the forests)

I must admit that I was surprised to hear a female voice on this channel. I must have missed her co-narrations on earlier stories. It is the perfect addition, especially for a tragic romance tale such as this one.

Don't go messing about with 1st cousins! It will only end in stupidity.
@ClipperHorizon2 күн бұрын
To be fair, especially in older times/literature, the term "cousin" would be used to address most relatives not in one's immediate family, so 2nd, 3rd, and removed cousins, not just direct 1st cousins. Given that Beatrice is visiting from a more distant city, she is probably not his 1st cousin but a more distant cousin related several generations back.

I hate to say so, but the pacing of this may have been half-a-beat too strong? I missed a touch of the dialogue, and a more delicate pace would make for a more comfortable listen. I almost didn't post this comment, as I really love everything you do. But I decided that, since it was only constructive, I probably wouldn't look like too much of an A-hole.
@HorrorBabbleАй бұрын
This one goes back to 2018, which probably accounts for the difference in pace. I’d certainly approach it differently nowadays.

@HorrorBabble don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved it. Probably my favorite narration channel on YT 🤘🤘
@TransRoofKoreanАй бұрын
@@HorrorBabble For what it's worth, I would've listened to it in 2018, but enjoyed it even more this time around. Although now I know not to trust Beatrice's wily ways, which will only bring her to sad ruin...
