But I could see Drymon trying to lure him back to the show after directing the fourth movie. And besides, Nickelodeon went through some management changes after C.H. Greenblatt's departure. (The president switch from Cyma Zaraghami to Brian Robbins for example)

Considering Derek Drymond know a lot of Spongebob's comedy, I actually have high expectations for this movie. I think Derek could really steer this movie to the right direction. No more out-of-place, irrelevant, filler scenes with dolphin gods or talking tumbleweeds. Just all comedy and scenes that would actually fit right in the Spongebob universe

I actually think Bubbles and Keanu Reeves Tumbleweed were the best parts of their respective movies. Otherwise I agree, the SpongeBob movies are at their best without any executive meddling. "Fighting the Flying Dutchman" sounds like a much more fitting story for SpongeBob than "going to the **real world** and becoming superheroes" and "summer camp babies and lol random zombie cowboy pirates!!"

No, we don’t all wait until December 19, 2025. Not only will they push forward or push back the release date, but some of us cannot afford going to a movie theater, so we’ll have to wait until comes to DVD or streaming, except no again, because not only will we probably need a premium subscription to watch it, but some of can’t even afford streaming services. Even when it does come out on dvd, it’s expensive for some people so we have to wait even longer until the price goes down before we can watch it
