Tacoma Police “claim” a reduction of crime in Tacoma by NOT REPORTING crime! 🤣🤣🤣 A man intentionally hit a woman with his car. From a stand still, drove forward, turned his car to hit the woman and continued driving forward, forcing the woman to shuffle her feet backwards, hands on hood, and tried not to fall and be run over. Cops arrive, belittle and demean the victim, asked the man not a single question and let him drive away. Cops also leave, leaving woman crying alone in her car.

I have to agree with you. I lived in metro Atlanta back in the day and went to college in Mobile, AL and was stationed in San Diego, CA (the Navy base is sandwiched between like 2 bad neighborhoods) and used to visit family and friends in South Central Los Angeles all the time and I NEVER had any of my property stolen or feared getting shot until I moved to Tacoma. It would be helpful if the judges we had protected their INNOCENT communities INSTEAD of the criminals who are preying there!!! Stop catch and release. Though because they pulled the teeth of their police it is what they deserve. Funny how now they want protection when they render their own protectors in the form of the police so helpless and without the training, equipment etc that funding them gives. Ironic defunding provides the EXACT opposite of the outcome they want... Police with the skills to de-escalate things, proper training, equipment and staff to deal with everything they do. But who am I to say anything lol only one of the innocent who can only add to my vote against those who did this to the beloved area I live in. Never approved voted when I could against it. Felt shame and disgust against everyone including the media for supporting mesures against the benefits of what well funded police do for us. Oh well we can't even now have good guns that will protect us due to our government and fear of the few bad people... Lol like criminals obey laws about guns etc!

I lived in Downtown Tacoma and my car was stolen out of my gated parking garage. I called the police and was told to wait for an officer to come to my apartment building. The officer instead called me back and took my report over the phone over 3 hours later. Luckily the person who stole it just abandoned it like 6 days later and when they went to tow it they realized it was mine from the info that was given. Tacoma PD is the most useless law enforcement agency that I have ever seen in my life. Chief Avery Moore needs to be FIRED for incompetence! He's pathetic!
