I'm sincerely happy to be one of those people. It's such a genuine baller of a weapon, surprisingly accurate, good rate of fire, great if you hit your shots and such a flex when you kill somebody who brought a weapon that can literally be 10x the price sometimes lol (lookin at you, mosin players.)

I could affort to run a Uppercut with every shotgun kit i run, but instead i play some scottfield, some pax etc just because its fun to have some variety in how the gun feels to shoot

Im in 5-6 star hell on console where you dont see anything besides dolchs and long ammo rifles or shotguns with slugs but the Springfield is still my go to. Its my favorite. I love the way it feels and i love that its not meta

The Springfield is my favourite newbie rifle. Cheap, accurate, deadly, only downside is that missing shots are heavily punished. It really gets you going at the start of the game, you learn how to play carefully, and if you die you didn't lose an expensive loadout.

The springfield's maniability is weird. Lighter than Sparks and heavier than winfield, witch just make it a strange middle absolutly counterintuitive. that's why I'm never using it

Shorty centennial silencer is one of my favorite guns to play.

The Centennial has lower DMG and can only carry one ammo type. Also has considerebly lower hip accuracy and the increased firerate isn't that much taking animation cancel into consideration (for the Springs). But strictly speaking of High Velocity ammo, the Cenny may as well be superior. Still, expect a lot of soft headshots if you plan to snipe with it, something that is beyond rare to happen with the Springfield.

The stats tell you one thing but every springy player will tell you it doesn’t give you the full picture. I play well with both but my springy with dumdum just feels way more powerful than the centennial

It can't one tap a hunter that's missing a small bar to the chest. That's the cents main drawback and the Springfield doesn't share it.

I was never a fan of the Springfield. But I feel like even less people use it now as the ammo types that were somewhat exclusive to it (dum-dum, explosive) showed up on other better weapons. It’s just not the best at anything, but it’s cheap.

I think any weapon is OP if you land headshots like hornet do :D Springfield **forgotten** 'cause it's simply worse, there's straight single-shot rifle upgrades - Sparks or Martini, just 100$ more expensive Want dum-dum pressure? Use Centennial or Drilling, again this guns will be simply better and wont disable on 3 seconds after first shot

Yeah, I used to play a ton of Springfield dum dum, but Centennial just does it better. Springfield is still good, I just don't find myself using it anymore, which is a shame. Centennial really didn't need the dum dum, HV would have sufficed to make it competetive.

why become a skilled player and get good at aiming when you could take spam weapons like carbine, marathon, dolch or fanning and 2 tap the body, or just rat with shotgun in a bush. hunt player logic in a nutshell and why you never see sparks or springfield any more, and why the game sucks more than ever.

People always use the best weapons. It was true when I started 4 years ago and it’s true now. It was only a huge problem with the avto + sparks combo. But you can always just keep your distance or learn from players like Hornet how to fight against them.

At this level weapon doesn't seem to really matter. As long as it can land headshots any weapon is playable for him. That's a bit upsetting for low skill players such as myself though

​@@IamFilter94 its absolutely not true, weapons start to matter the more up in the mmr you go. Because of a lot of factors like muzzle velocity, wall pen and damage fallof long ammo is the king of high ranks and shotguns are almost non-existent
